Front desk was rude and not accomodating to include small child. Charged extra at the hotel. Room was good. One day breakfast was good. Next day fruits and other items were limited and bit stale. Ride to airport was pricy from hotel.

We stayed at Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort And Spa family-friendly hotel where my kids had a blast! We booked the Family Explorer package but didn’t fully use the amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Rare delight and find during international travels. The kids have a check in desk (fun for toddlers) and they’re entertained by a koi pond in the lobby. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The building is under construction however you’re not impacted at all because they strive to serve you and your family. There’s even toys in the room for baby

Elevator was out. Its walkable around the area but it sits on a giant steap hill. Plenty of taxi and tuk tuk available

Great sea view room was spotless and comfortable. Wonderful, consistently professional staff at every level. Alon gave great help from the front desk, and Din was the best waiter you could ask for. My wife has Celiac, and we enjoyed the "half board" plan. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant for 8 days, and she didn't get glutened even once! A great plan for people who need to eat gluten free. The chefs were extremely helpful, and all the wait staff were knowledgeable. Yes, it's a small climb back up to the hotel, but their shuttle to the beach every half hour helps a lot. Can't wait to stay here again the next time we visit Phuket!

The elevators weren’t working and they put us in a room with construction next door so it was loud during the entire day during our stay.

They are very generous with the bottled water. The dining area was always hot. I knew it was a family resort but I didn't think kids would be in all pools. The shuttle service to Kata Beach is convenient. The room was very nice with a lot of closet space.

Everything about this property was amazing, including the staff. The service was straight from the heart. From the moment we checked in, Yok was very informative of all the benefits and facilities we could use. She also gave us an early check in which saved the day ❤️ When we got into the room, there was the Happy Birthday set up on the bed which really made my husband very happy as he was not expecting it, I requested for it but didn’t think it would be ready especially for the time as it was far from check in time. All the staff were amazing! During the duration of our stay and check out, Tubtab was very nice and professional giving us ideas on where we can go next. He also solved every mishap. Lai and Pom from the Zing Pool Bar has already recognized my daughter and helper within a short period of time! They were very friendly and I had a great time chatting with them. This trip has been so amazing that my daughter can’t wait to be back.

The property is set up nicely for families. The Family Rooms are cute and engaging for kids, there are two kids' clubs, and there's a separate kids' pool and splash pad. The staff are fantastic, and the location is convenient for shopping and the beaches. Unfortunately, the property needs a refresh. The buildings are tired and have worn poorly. The rooms have hollow-core doors with no insulation or weatherstripping. You'll have perpetual moisture and ambient noise in your room. The splash pad must be resurfaced as it's buckling, cracked, and generally dangerous for young kids. The WIFI was atrocious - incapable of handling any videoconferencing (so don't plan to do any work while you're there). This property has a lot of potential, but doesn't live up to the Novotel brand name.

The family room is just a large standard sized hotel rm. My room had a mildew smell my entire stay and the blankets felt damp from the moisture in the room. There was a consistent sewerage smell coming from the toilet. We asked for washed cloths 5 times in our 3 day stay and kept receiving hand towels. I wouldn't stay here again nor recommend it.

The shuttle service to Kata beach was nice since the hotel is on a steep hill. The deluxe room with sea view was spacious with plenty of closet space. We were on the fourth floor and the trees obscured some of the sea view.The staff service was excellent. The restaurant menu was good and the buffet breakfast was great. I didn't know all the pools would be over run with children although it's a family oriented hotel. We had a difficult time securing two seats by the upper pool mid-day.

Lovely hotel, nice staff and good facilities. Only negative it’s at the top of a hill, this is easily overcome buy ample cheap taxis, hotel free shuttle bus or realising it’s only an issue on the way back 😂

Lovely hotel, staff and great breakfast

Our experience at the hotel was great and delightful. The hotel has great facilities, it is close to the beach, has a good restaurant and provides a rich and abundant breakfast. The staff is very professional and friendly, a special mention to the reception team, May, Mia and Tina. And special thanks also to Aey at the lobby for his help.
