Good location, friendly staff. The hotel could use a bit of a Reno or facelift, as it’s getting a little tired. But at the price we paid, we were more than happy. Value for money is extremely good. Although we may be happier than most, as we received a free room upgrade to a mini suite. Seperate bedroom, lounge/living area. 2 TVs, 2 balconies, one of which was massive wrap around the corner style, overlooking the second pool…. 2 Split system air cons were old n well used, but did a great job of keeping our rooms 21 degrees. Shame the outdoors are balcony mounted, as they are pumping hot air out there… Good breakfast buffet included. Bathroom was small and a bit rough looking. This is the main reason I only gave 4 stars.

Very spacious rooms. Hotel is very close to main streets and shopping, 10 minutes walk to the beach.
Very old furniture , beds and uncomfortable shower and toilet are very old and smell is horrible.
Staff in hotel is so nice and helpful very friendly.
Breakfast is nice lots of choice.

I highly recommend Patong Heritage Hotel.The atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and quiet. The staff is exceptionally friendly, always willing to help with a warm smile and humble attitude.
Another significant advantage of this hotel is its outstanding breakfast spread, catering to even the pickiest of eaters. Vegetarian options are also plentiful, ensuring all guests have something to suit their taste.
A lovely coffee corner is an added bonus, where staff are happy to prepare authentic Thai coffee, along with a selection of specialty teas. It's the perfect way to start your day.
The hotel also features a lovely swimming pool, which I regretfully didn't have time to enjoy during my stay. However, I'm confident it's a wonderful spot to unwind, especially for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere over the ocean.
The hotel's location is ideal, within walking distance to the mall, Bangla Street, and numerous stores and restaurants serving traditional and international cuisine.
While a car can be convenient for exploring different beaches, it's not necessary for navigating the neighborhood. Taxis (tuk-tuks) are readily available everywhere, making it easy to get around, even for those who prefer not to drive.
Note that driving in the area can be quite challenging.

I had to change rooms 2 times because of the AC not working properly, dripping water and very noisy, manager tried to blame me, saying that out of all guests I was the only one complaining, fact is that the very night I checked in there was a Russian woman complaining about the AC (same issues I experienced) and asking to be moved to an other room. I cannot say anything about the food or the staff because they were very nice. But the hotel looks like was built in the 70s and nothing has changed or fixed, the showers were horrible, ceiling was cracked. Not a good experience, the first 4-5 nights I could sleep cause of the loud noise of the AC, eventually after changing 2 rooms I had to buy earplugs to be able to sleep. Manager was an absolute incompetent and tried to blame me. Anyway not a good experience I would not recommend this hotel to no one, don't let the photos fool you.

Satisfactory Stay, But Needs Renovation
I stayed at this hotel recently with two other adults, and while the location was great—just a short walking distance from Bangla Road—there were several aspects that could use improvement.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the check-in and overall experience pleasant. However, the hotel itself felt quite dated and in need of a good renovation. This includes the gym, which I wouldn't really consider a gym by most standards.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom room, which was comfortable for three adults. However, one major issue was the shower heads, which were too low. In the general bathroom, it was nearly impossible to shower without kneeling down, and even in the main bathroom, we had to duck to get under the water. I'm 178cm tall, and my friends were 185cm and 192cm, so it was especially uncomfortable for them.
The flat-screen TVs were a bit outdated as well, as they weren’t smart TVs. Some upgrades would definitely improve the overall experience.
For the price and our basic needs, it was an okay stay, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. If you're traveling with family, places like Deevena Plaza or Graceland offer better accommodations.
If you're just looking for a place to sleep with standard amenities and don’t mind a more basic stay, this hotel will suffice—especially given the proximity to Patong and Bangla Road.

In the very heart of Patong, within walking distances to shops and Bagala Rd. 7 Eleven, pharmacist and clinic all around the hotel, plus lots of food option. For the money you pay, it's worth it for the location.
Friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, decent pool. The rooms are slightly dated but still presentable. Will recommend to anyone who wants to be close to all the actions of Patong.
