Lovely hotel, quiet and suitable for relaxation. Cannot swim because of the rocks, but the view is very beautiful. Lovely staff to help.

This was a great experience to have a holiday in a private villa with your own pool overlooking the beach. The villa's are starting to become a bit run down and need some updating, however they are kept very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a lot of rubbish on the beach, making it hard to enjoy with the kids, but this seems to be a problem throughout the island. The eternity pool was absolutely divine and sparkling clear, definitely a highlight of our stay. The nextdoor restaurant was also delicious and a great option for all meals.

Lovely for a quick stopover, especially if you want to be near the airport. Beach access is limited nad is not close to much. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the rooms with the pools are nice.

The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is away from the busy Chaweng beach but close enough to be easily accessible. Transfers to the airport were easily organised and the airport is close too.
I would stay here again. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 weeks at Pawanthorn for our 10 year anniversary. It was perfect for what we wanted, privacy and a private pool. Hotel breakfast and dinner was amazing, but no room service available. Room was cleaned daily, however laundry was disappointing as it took 3 days, instead of 1 day as promised.
We hired a scooter to get around as it's a 10 minute drive to Chaweng which we didn't mind. There was construction downstairs at the restaurant which wasn't overly relaxing while in the pool.
Overall a lovely holiday and would return in the future.

Rooms are a bit aged but fantastic place. We had the 3 bedroom villa n it was very good. Rooms are a bit aged n bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but overall it was very nice. Loved the pool. The staff were gr8 n the freshly prepared breakfast was amazing.

We stayed for 10 nights during the off-season, so there were never more than a few guests. The staff did a great job taking care of us, always having a wonderful breakfast ready, and providing transportation to Chaweng Beach. The property is a few miles away from the busy area, and requires transportation to really do anything. They provide a free shuttle to their other property on Chaweng Beach, Montien House, which was great, and located near everything in Chaweng. It is also possible to walk along the beach to Chaweng, which takes about an hour. We also rented a motorbike for 5 days, which worked perfectly for getting around the island on our own, for a very reasonable price. By renting from the hotel, we did not have to worry about getting scammed on the deal, that happens a lot when renting from individual companies.

Although relatively close to airport experienced no noise . Great location with Boput and Chaweng in close proximity. Pools amazing. Plenty of sunlounges and umbrellas and gazebos for shade too. Staff were fantastic. Very accommodating and friendly. Extremely helpful with any of our requests or queries. Daily breakfast was a delight. The quietly spoke young cook was a whizz in the kitchen. Loved his different daily dishes. Catered for all tastes.

hotel staffs are nice and helpful. the room pool is quite nice.
but the hotel beach cannot be used. the lock of the room door is ruined. they did not help us to clean the used glasses of the room. there was no renew of bedsheets.
if you pay that price, you can have a better choice.

Beautiful setting just up the hill from Chaweng Beach. The Staff was GREAT! The rooms are nice, I stayed in a private villa, though there are two small windows that can see into the pool (you would have to make an effort to look into someone's room). Location was about 2k from the airport and 3-5k from Chaweng. Not much within walking distance, but you can rent a scooter/motorbike for $250BHT/$8USD a day and find places within 5 minutes in both directions. I highly recommend this if you are comfortable driving as taxis are much more expensive than in Bangkok and there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast is included and is small, but has more than enough options and was decent enough to fill you up....I enjoyed it.

The staff here was amazing! They helped us book a motorcycle and it was there within 30 minutes of arriving. They also gave us free transfer to and from the airport. They were all so kind and accommodating! We had a very late flight and they let us keep our bags in the office and gave us a room to shower in before our flight! Highly recommend.

- spacious villa with a private pool of decent size (really for swimming And not just water fun)
- utmost degree of privacy with quiet neighbourhood
- friendly staff and good choices of breakfast items despite the hotel size (10 villas in total)
- 1-min walk to the beach nearby (more for relaxation rather than swimming or watersports)
- proximity to the airport
- excellent deal amid the price
Cons:
- Not the perfect location for easy access to Chaweong beach and restaurants (motorbike or car rental is highly recommended, 10-min drive to the town is required)
- cozy interior design but the villa structure does not allow any view to the ocean
