All staff are friendly and helpful. Such an amazing and memorable stay. The kid loves it so much. The swimming pool is nice, the room is clean, and love the free boat shuttle service to the main pier.
Many thanks to Mrs. Kalong for giving many recommendations about foods and the city. We certainly will come back.

The place had a great view and overall was pretty good. However, the bathroom was missing some essentials like a hairdryer, ironing board, and other basic amenities — which I would have expected given the price. Room service was friendly and efficient, but a bit more attention to detail would help; they accidentally left the fridge door open, which unfortunately spoiled some of my medication.

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside when we visited Bangkok for our vacation. The staff is courteous, friendly, and very helpful. They also greet me with a warm smile, “Hello, Madame” greeting, and make me feel welcome during my extended stay (due to my husband’s medical emergency during our trip). The location is close to Asiatique Riverfront, where there are bars, gift shops, boutiques, restaurants, dessert galleries, and a theater that showcases daily Siam Fantasy shows. The daily breakfast buffet will not disappoint as it offers a diverse food options, including Western/European, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and Thai etc. It also offers dining options.
My favorite is their large size swimming pool where I could do my daily morning swim laps & where most guests tend to dip & sunbathe after a full day of tours. The hotel also offers nightly live music performed by a Duo Imagini Filippino Team - a pianist & singer, who entertain guests with 3 performances nightly ( 2 in the outdoor dining area & 1 in the hotel piano/bar lounge).
While the King bedroom we occupied on the 10th floor was quite spacious with a nice view of both the large swimming pool & the Chao Phraya River, it can use some renovation as it’s a bit worn/ outdated. Overall, we had a very positive experience & pleasant stay. Btw, we understand the hotel is undergoing a major facelift & renovation which is expected to be complete at the end of 2026.

We had a very enjoyable experience staying at the Ramada Plaza Riverside Hotel during our recent visit to Bangkok. Their staff is friendly & professional. Their property has a huge outdoor swimming pool, a nice indoor/outdoor dining room facing the Chao Phraya River, great buffet with lots of both Thai & non-Thai food options. It’s conveniently close to Asiatique Night Market where there are lots of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops.

I love the river location, and shuttleboat service to Sathorn Pier. I also like the pool and nearby “Chef Jack Steak and More,” a locally owned family business that serves great Thai food.

The hotel itself was lovely and very clean.
The pool was nice, however it rarely gets sun in the pool area, if any, due to the high rise buildings around the front and side of the hotel. There were 3 sun loungers by the river as the hotel has one side that backs onto the water and that had lots of sunshine and then there was maybe 4 loungers on a seating area above the pool so a spot in the sun is slim. The pool is very cold as it doesn’t have any sun on it and most residents struggled with how cold the water was considering the temp outside is in the 30’s. We were there for 4 days and the hotel was nice but if you are looking for a spot of sunbathing by the pool, I would think again. If you want to lounge around the pool and always be in the shade ( helpful with kids) this is a great hotel. Hope that helps

Excellent location. Walking distance to Asiarique and hotel offers complimentary (one way) daily boat service to Central Pier.
Staff are very helpful too. My husband left his mobile phone in the cab and the hotel staff assisted in contacying the driver.
We haven't had the chance to usr the ameneties so couldn't comment on those :)
