The hotel is built in a natural setting with a nice garden and quiet. Near the restaurant is not the sea, but it comes out to the sea. Good service staff.

This hotel is an overpriced dump. It’s not even on the beach. It’s very outdated and not well-maintained. The windows in the room were dirty, there was a smell of sewer, the staff was not helpful. Don’t waste your time or money on this hotel. There are much nicer ones right on the beach..

Samed Pavilion is a convenient base for this area of the island. Whilst not the most luxurious stay in the area, it is clean, pleasant and the staff are friendly and efficient. Strongly recommend for those who prefer to enjoy beach life rather than spend all their time on holiday in a hotel.

The hotel was nice, but the restaurant is only open for breakfast buffet and they aren’t actually located on the beach like some of the pictures look like. Our front door and bathroom doors didn’t close all the way and the view we had was of the water tanks on the back side of the hotel.
The staff was friendly and check in/out was easy. The pool was small but clean and the chlorine level was not too high.
I have stayed at other hotels on the island and this is the best one with a pool which we needed for our kids and it was a 4min walk to the beach, but you did have to pay for chair rentals.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights and I have to say this hotel might be one of the high end hotels around this beach area. The only I like about this hotel is its location with nearby restaurants and grocery stores. However, I found it quite expensive when comparing the quality of the hotel to the price. Firstly the pool is very small and there are only 8 beds, secondly the breakfast is quite crappy, not a lot of choices and it was not that good, thirdly the room floor was sooo sticky that we had to call for the maid to clean it and it was still very sticky. Last but not least our room smelled like sewage and at the middle of the night the concrete from the second floor in front of our room fell down to the porch area, thanks gods we were not sitting there. But since there are not really a lot of choices there, we might stay here again if we do return to Samed Island....

Came back after 4 years to this resort. Everything is the same except its abit dated. Really hope refurbishment can be done. For my room, aircon was not working properly and basic amenities like room slippers are on request. The rest is perfect.
