The room is very spacious and clean. Comfort level is excellent. In service meal was also supherb. All the staff up from cleaning to room service to reception to dining to lobby to gym, have exhibited exemplary service. My husband and I were delighted for the special birthday treat and for accepting our request for a birthday song sang in Thai. We cannot be more grateful for that !

One of the best hotels in Bangkok. Breakfast spread was marvelous and even had vegetarian options. The Royal Club Lounge was simply amazing with the lovely views at 26th floor. The food and drinks options at the Lounge were fantastic.

We had a wonderful holiday in Bangkok. Great clean and safe hotel. Worth every penny. Restaurants were very good. Staff was top notch. Ate room service one night and it was ok. Ate in the main restaurant for breakfast and a few dinners. It was easy and had plenty of options for everyone. Room was clean and modern. Swimming pool was nice and relaxing in the heat. If we come back we would stay here again because of all the options and location right outside of all the tourist and shopping spots.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at The Athenee Hotel, and only wish we could have stayed longer! The service was exceptional, with every staff member going above and beyond to help. All staff members were so friendly, and were wonderful with our children as well. The pool area is beautiful and the gym is really well-equipped. We had a family room (2 rooms connected) which was super comfortable and great for our larger family. When I informed the hotel it was our son’s birthday, they arranged some gorgeous decorations & surprise treats on our room for our arrival, and our son felt super special. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to be back in the near future!

Of the many hotels that we have chosen over the years, the Athenee Hotel in Bangkok was among the very best. While this was not our first time to Bangkok, this was our first stay at this hotel. It is centrally located, and a very short walk from a Sky Train station, which allowed us easy access to many parts of the City. The hotel is the epitome of elegance from the moment you walk in. Our room was very well appointed, and the hotel was a true oasis of relaxation after returning from touring the city. Of the greatest note, however, was the service provided by the employees of this hotel (with one exception that I will describe later). From the moment we walked in the door, there were warm welcomes and greetings from the doormen, the bell staff and even security. Our check in, while lengthy, was gracious. And of note, our encounters with Day, Kook, Phueng, Nammon and Bogie were incredible - each of them going above and beyond and out of their way to assure that our stay was memorable, comfortable and extraordinary. They all deserve special thanks! The only individual that was a disappointment was a member of the concierge staff, who we were seeking some help from on our last day - he was stiff, unfriendly and unpleasant- I don’t think that he was Thai. He was notable only because of the contrast he drew from literally every other person we encountered on staff, and doesn’t take away from the overall experience.
