The Cotton Saladaeng Hotel

My 3rd stay in the hotel. Overall, the hotel, services and location all ticked the boxes. Only setback is the sound proofing of the rooms, which would need improvements.

Nice hotel

we stayed here five nights in april. this cute lil hotel had so much going for it, but unfortunately our stay was marred by what seemed to be poor property maintenance. pros: - location: excellent, located near bts stations, plenty of food options nearby, and within walking distance of lumphini park. - staff: very polite and friendly. when we raised issues with our rooms, they were very helpful and tried their best to attend to the problems. housekeeping excellent. - comfort: beds were cosy, rooms were clean and had cooling AC. everything was nicely decorated. - amenities: there is a small gym, with three cardio machines, and a little pool (more for dipping than a swim). both are nicely maintained. cons: the rooms just don't seem very well-maintained. in our first room on the third floor, the top of the doorframe collapsed on day 2. the staff was very apologetic and offered us our choice of three rooms, and two free breakfasts in compensation. but the second room, located on the second floor (which we chose because the staff warned us that other two were facing some maintenance and may be noisy in the day) turned out to be little better. at periodic times in the night, we were awoken by the sound of running water coming from the AC unit. when we reported this to staff, they sent a technician to fix it but to no avail. the rooms themselves aren't very soundproof but it was the running water that kept us waking up for several nights. i do hope it is fixed soon.

Clean room, friendly staff. Good commute to places.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The kids loved the ice lolly in the lobby. And breakfast is way beyond expectation.

Excellent location, rooms were updated, clean, and spacious. Only downside was that there isn't a ramp so bringing big luggage is slightly inconvenient.

Everything was excellent

The hotel has been upgraded since our last visit and it is very nice. The location is perfect as there are delicious and affordable restaurants on the same street and a wonderful food market around the corner 5 minutes walk. We really appreciated the free tuk tuk shuttle service to the nearby Skytrain station. I would definitely stay here again.

Good place

The hotel is clean, quiet, no limit in supplies when requesting. The room has free bottle water, coffee and creamer. The hotel is close to big malls and market. Front desk staff are nice. I recommended this hotel.

Ultra clean room, lovely hotel.

The room was clean and the property is in great condition. Close to a lot of restaurants and the public transit. There are not a lot of breakfast options which was disappointing so it wasn't easy to find something quick before heading out for excursions. My room also didn't have a window (which I wasn't expecting but I did have to change my reservation so likely when the change was made they just put me in whatever was available). I didn't like the closed-in feeling of the room so we ended up choosing to move to another hotel.

Large room, and HUGE bed! Very clean throughout. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, 5 min walk from Lumphini blue line metro, which can take you to all the main sites. Amazing restaurant next door, and 7-11 at the end of the street. What more do you need!
