Tolani Resort Koh Kood

The hotel was advertised and depicted having a private beach on their website which swayed us into choosing this hotel , in fact they don’t have a beach at all, just a rocky sand bank that is exposed when the tide goes out in the evening. Food is the most expensive locally and the portion sizes small. The hotel is situated on the corner of a main road One plus was free kayak usage enabling access to local beaches and crystal clear waters at the other hotels.

We had the best stay at Tolani. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the resort beautiful. Loved Ko Kood💛

Stay was good. Breakfast wasn’t to our liking.

Hotel is very dated and rooms in terrible condition. Woke up at 3am to water spraying everywhere in bathroom flooding the room due to damaged pipe. No one on reception at night so was forced to stay up until someone back on duty holding pipe towards toilet. Terrible hotel and service.

Property & beach are gorgeous. They have kayaks that you can take out. Would have liked a more comfortable place to sit in the room, and places to sit in the shade around the property. They have several cabanas, but none had lounges or chairs (maybe because it was off-season?)

Takes a long time to get a meal at the restaurant. Shower water is salty. Airconditioned filter screens have never been cleaned. Refrigerator iced up and noisy. Poo smell in shower and elsewhere. Toilet cistern fill valve almost blocked so the tank takes a long time to fill.

We were very well looked after by helpful staff under the guidance of Johnnie the manager. The staff were very accommodating and provided us with a variety of vegetarian options made especially for us. The manager also made a point of saying that they would address the lack of vegetarian options on the standard menu. The chalet we stayed in was in a lush green setting with the view of the bay and beach through the coconut trees. The beach was accessible via kayak (complimentary) which we also used to paddle up the river to see the Khlong Chao waterfall. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the rooms were cleaned daily. Anyone considering booking here should bear in mind that this an eco-resort, which means that while the setting is 5 star, the facilities while perfectly adequate are not luxurious and make no claim to be. Overall it was a lovely place to relax.

I was impressed the location and nature of services including abundant mangroves. The privacy of place made me fully of relax.

First trip to Koh Kood with Away, first night we choose Island Tent, as we have seen some reviews about, then try. We love this Island Tent , though it's placed behind all house and no aircondition excess but for us that's relax to walk a little bit high and tent was desire lovely complete and hat month we visited there the whether not so hot. Tomorrow next we move to seaside house with air-con , that's so easy to walk along seaside, so cool!!!

Secluded, serene, satisfied! Will be back for sure!

Sehr schönes Hotel, mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre klein aber fein. Nettes Personal, alle sehr Freundlich.

Idyllisch hotel op een geweldige locatie. Leuke kamer met geweldig uitzicht over een van de mooiste stukjes van Koh Kood. Staf is geweldig en niets is te veel. Zeer goed ontbijt met ruime westerse en oosterse keuze. Restaurant is ook erg goed. Wel iets duurder dan de gemiddelde restaurants op het eiland, maar de gefrituurde noedels zijn echt een topper. Kamer leuk en exotisch ingericht en bevatte alle benodigheden. Klein minpuntje was dat de douche niet 100% werkte maar daar hadden we nauwelijks last van. Als je van pure luxe houdt dan zou je deze accomodatie kunnen beoordelen alsof het zijn beste tijd heeft gehad, maar als je je enigszins verdiept in de levens situatie op het eiland dan past dat juist optimaal bij de sfeer. Wij hebben hier enorm genoten, ondanks dat het weer in de week dat wij er waren niet 100% was.

Superfint hotell med jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal! Vi hade fem riktiga toppendagar på Tolani och kommer definitivt tillbaka om vi återvänder till Koh Kood. Enda är att det inte finns någon strand direkt intill hotellet, men det är bara en väldigt kort simtur (ca 40 meter) eller en kort tur med moped till en jättefin strand.

Mycket trevligt hotell med fin utsikt från rummet, bra service och mottagande från personalen. Lite problem med varmvattnet bitvis men inget som störde oss.

Das Hotel Tolani hat uns super gefallen. Unser Bungalow mit kleinem Pool war herrlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und wir hatten eine Aussendusche. Das Bungalow war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet das man braucht. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ein Traum. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön am Meer gelegen und hat viele Pflanzen. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel sind super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist super. Wir haben hervorragend gegessen und auch das Frühstücksbuffet war super. Wir können das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden es sofort auch selber wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an das Hotel-Team für unseren super Aufenthalt !

Hotelli ylitti odotuksemme! Aivan ihana ympäristö ja mökkimme niin upea. Henkilökunta todella avuliasta. Saivat järjestettyä meille ylimääräisen yön vaikka ensin näytti, että oli ihan täyttä. Ranta tässä kohdalla ei niin hyvä, mutta muutaman kymmenen metrin päässä jo todella upea. Aamupala hyvin kattava.
