Beautiful place 5 minutes from Petra. Moumen made us feel at home and the traditional local meals cooked by his mom were delicious. Amazing view of Wadi Musa from the dining hall, especially at night. Would definitely stay there again.

Twilight Hotel Petra was one of the best parts of my trip to Jordan. From the moment I arrived, I felt more like a guest in someone’s home than a traveler in a hotel. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern comforts. What truly set this place apart was the people. Every staff member was kind and helpful, but the owner in particular went above and beyond. He gave me amazing recommendations and even offered to guide me himself—he knows Petra like the back of his hand and brings it to life with passion and insight. The food was fantastic—authentic Jordanian dishes and the perfect way to unwind after a full day exploring Petra. Twilight Hotel Petra is a true hidden gem. If you’re heading to Petra, this is the kind of place you hope to find—authentic, welcoming, and full of the little things that make a stay unforgettable. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Excellent experience. Highly reccomended. The owner is very knowledgable and helpful. We would stay here again. Note: Jordan is a very safe country, and I was surprised that English is everywhere. Don’t hesitate to visit Jordan.

We had a good stay overall, the owner and the cleaning/cooking lady were very sweet and made us feel like home. It looks exactly like the pictures and the breakfast was great. It is very close to the Petra Visitor Center (6min drive) so I recommend this Hotel !

We had a FANTASTIC 2 night stay at the Twilight Hotel and we did not want to leave. The owner Mo’men was so kind and helpful. We were so thankful he spoke excellent English. The view from his home overlooking Wadi Musa valley at night is so beautiful with all the town lights below. Mo fed us home cooked meals for reasonable prices. Easy onsite parking. We chose the family room downstairs but next time I will choose the upstairs room with the balcony view of the town below. We highly recommend the Twilight Hotel. Also we felt so safe here as female travelers and Mo was so informative that we hired him as our tour guide in Petra the next day. For dinner the second night we went into town and ate at Mama’s Cafe rooftop restaurant and had another wonderful meal. After hiking all day in Petra we took his recommendation to relax at the Turkish bath in town. I can’t wait to go back to Petra and I will definitely stay ant Twilight again.

Our stay was great. The manager was extremely helpful. Their dining room has a beautiful view and dinner was home-made and delicious. They provided an amazing lunch for our walk around Petra and lots of information. Rooms were comfortable, large and clean. The price was great too. We had a great stay!

My stay at the Twilight Hotel Petra was absolutely fantastic. I was greeted and immediately helped with checking in and I even got extra help figuring out my eSIM with my phone. Momen helped me with my travels and was wonderful person to talk to. It was a perfect first stop in Jordan. He was very welcoming and taught me a lot about not only Petra and Wadi Musa, but Jordan as a whole. A perfect place to stay to start your adventures! I’m truly grateful for the kind hospitality, wonderful food, and fun experiences I have from staying here. Definitely going to book here again for any future travels to Jordan. Thank you so much! 🙏😊

This place is amazing. Very clean room with comfortable matress and lots of place to put your clothes. This is a brand new hotel so in very good condition. The breakfast is big and tasty and you also have the view on the valley while you eat! The owner is very caring about his guest and do everything to make you feel like family. He was a guide in Petra and he helped us a lot with our itinerary, explain us historical facts. A real VIP experience! Also a big plus is they offer lunch box for yours days in Petra lots of food sandwiches with fruits, snacks, juice and bottle of water for a very cheap price. The diner are also very good and authentic, go for it you won’t regret it!

Very nice hotel. Beautiful view. Friendly, nice and helpful staff. Authentic and stylish rooms. Way better impression than we expected. I definetely recommend to stay. But, take your own eggs with you. The eggs served for breafast are nasty and oily. On the other hand, dinners in the hotel's restaurant are great, authentic, and with a beautiful view.

This place is a family home converted into a hotel all staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Location is very excellent to Petra as the business has started up fairly recently and the staff will do their utmost to try and rectify. I hope they will increase the variety of their breakfast to include hot food. We will go again next time.

Great stay at Twilight Hotel. Extremely clean and everything was brand new. Host was friendly and communication was good - he offers a free shuttle service which is really helpful to get to Petra Visitor's Centre and back again. He also went out of his way to collect us from the town centre. Overall pleased with our stay. There is also a friendly cat :)

It would be a decent stay for half the price. However, at this price, there are better alternatives. For North American travellers, Motel-6 would be a huge upgrade. The bed isn't comfortable. The bedsheet doesn't cover the entire mattress. You get two towels for the stay (no bathmats) that aren't replaced unless you ask. Our bathroom sink had no water pressure. Our shower never had hot water, but others said after 5-7 minutes the water heated up, so maybe we didn't wait long enough. The breakfast was the most basic and worst out of all our 10 nights in Jordan. We met two other couples that had similar issues; one of them checked out early as well without getting a refund. The customer service is non-existent. We ended up leaving early to go to a different hotel so we could get a decent night's sleep. The owner said he couldn't refund us, which is fair. However, he offered not to charge us for the dinner and the lunchbox. When we went to settle the bill, he decided to charge us anyway because "he wasn't able to rent out the room to someone else." Why would he want to rent the room he already billed us for? That doesn't seem very ethical. Either way, not a bad place if it was cheaper, but I'd temper your expectations. There are better properties around for less money. EDIT: the owner used the booking phone number I used with Expedia to send me threatening messages after my review. That is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

The hotel is very nice, super clean and has a nice view. Our stay in Petra was super pleasant and warm also due to the owner who helped us with any questions we had. The combination of a welcoming owner and a commitment to cleanliness and quality made our stay memorable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this family-led hotel to anyone seeking a cozy and calm experience with a personal touch.

We stayed in a Comfort Twin Room - I hadnt been aware that this had a shared bathroom, but looking back, it was not a huge problem. We were never waiting to use it, and never saw who we were sharing with. The hotel is lovely, family run, and the staff are kind. The breakfast room overlooks Wadi Masa which is beautiful. Our room was stunningly clean, could not fault it. We were however, just off the reception which couldnt sometimes be a little loud. It is quite a way from Petra and I'm glad we have a car, while good says it would have been a 35-40 minute walk - this is non-stop uphill (and we are fit people). We drove down to Petra, and down for dinner - you would struggle without a car (although I have read other reviews which say the owner is willing to drive you down!) We were also offered a lunch bag for Petra at 5JOD each which was perfect to avoid paying out the nose. Highly recommend - simply for the hospitality and the owners.

We highly recommend staying here! It's fairly new and everything in the room was in pristine condition. We were happy to have a room near the front desk, where we had quick access to hotel staff if we needed anything. Breakfast was simple, tasty, and gave us the fuel we needed to start our day off right before heading into Petra. We also opted for the home cooked dinner, which was amazing. The portion sizes were huge and the meal of chicken, rice, salad, potatoes, and dessert was delicious! Being in the hotel dining room is an experience in and of itself, but it has a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is also within walking distance of a family-friendly park, which also has gorgeous scenic views of the area. The hotel staff is very friendly. The manager spent a generous amount of time walking us through strategies to get the best experience in Petra and other areas of Jordan, which worked out great!

Location is too far to walk from Petra visitors centre, but owners offer free shuttle bus (1x drop off in morning and 1x pick up in evening). In addition you can message for additional rides (6 JD) which is super convenient if you don’t have a car. Good but limited breakfast choice. Room very good and mattress was fantastic: we both slept like a baby :)

The owner and his family are very helpful and responsive. They try their best to make the guests feel comfortable and welcomed. The hotel itself needs a bit more attention in-terms of pipping and drainage in shower which hopefully is on the to do list of the owner.
