Tilas House No8 - Hostel

A memorable accommodation that I highly recommend to rent. As far as my travel experience, Tilas House no. 8 is the only accommodation that I dare to give a score of 10 out of 10, because of very pleasant experience while staying on it. Clean room, new sheets & towels, toughtful details in the room, all corners of the house are beautiful and fragrant, quite neighborhood. Accommodative, attentive, and helpful host (hi, Emre! 🌻). The location itself is surrounded by cafes, food stalls, and there is a migros (mini market) not far from it. Tilas House no. 8 is about 8 minutes from Kadikoy pier & bus stop, less than one km from Kadikoy market. Strategic location for travelers when they want to explore the entire area on the European side and the Asian side more. A small note for future travelers who plan to stay at Tilas: • Tilas House no. 8 is an old house that has been restored. That being said, there is no soundproofing in the room. Be mindful of noises coming from you and be understanding of noises coming from others. • The rooms are on the top floor (second or third). There is no elevator. Be careful when going up or down stairs and carrying heavy items. • The host provides a refrigerator, stove, cutlery, and drinks (instant coffee, Turkish coffee, tea, and sweeteners--in house). If you are travelers on a budget, the kindness of the host can help reduce your food expenses. Be prepared accordingly. • Enjoy your time in Tilas House no. 8 ❤️
