Baymont by Wyndham Smithfield

The room had a door handle that was somewhat working and the sheets didn’t look like they were clean. The worst of the whole stay was whoever was connected by walls to my room were up all night and into the morning and were very loud and obnoxious. I reported it to the lady at the desk when I checked out and she said she was aware and heard it all night.

If you’re coming for the pool, keep going. It’s been closed for a year or more. You can expect to get what you pay for with this place. Don’t expect champagne when you only want to spend beer money. The room served its purpose for a night of rest and the gentleman on staff late was a pleasure to chat with. He even gets the whole breakfast set up!

The room was ok. The area was not bad- BUT THE NOISE!!! I don’t know where the employees were at night, but the noise was so bad. The first night a dog was howling all night outside the door. The second night people were outside drinking and making so much noise. I was scared to fall asleep. People hanging off the second floor yelling. I cannot believe the property employees did NOTHING

First room seemed ok, however the shower sprayed water everywhere. Walked to the front desk since there was no phone in the room. The desk agent stated I couldn’t change rooms (due to night audit beginning), but she changed the room anyway, the second room had no heat, I called the desk from my cell phone, I was told there were no other rooms available. When I stated I’d call corporate I was told they aren’t governed by corporate, when I reminded her of the Wyndham part of their name, my room was changed. The floor of the room was dirty. Overall, not a good experience at all. Won’t be returning.

This place will never be mistaken for a luxury hotel, but it's a great place to stay for a night. It's clean. The bed is comfy. It's a great location. And the staff is excellent. Helpful. Friendly. Professional.

The first room had a leaky sink then the other room we moved to the people above us were yelling stomping & threatening to shoot each other. The police had to be called. This is not an experience I want for my 15 yr old daughter to witness

Its an old motel with new paint, first room had the bathroom door broken just hunged with the upper hinge could fall any time, the room was sourrounded by other construction workere from both sides , they had there utility truckes parked next to each others and the room was right at the center, si i asked for another room at the other side of the bulding. Room is an avreage motel room the only thing made my stay not comfortable the conectting doors on both sides of the room had no insulation or sound muffing, so on one side i had to listen to that room TV show and smell the micowave TV dinner getting cooked, on the othe side had to hear an old leady coughing all night , so basically my sleep was interrupted all night long. The continental breakfast was ok ,

The first room we were given did not have a working TV, the floor was not swept and had bugs crawling around, the bolt on the back of the door was broken, the sheets had holes in them, and the handles on the dresser and nightstand had stains on them. The staff was understanding and changed our room. The new room was fine except the heater was stuck on 90 degrees, so we had to get up a couple of times in the middle of the night to turn it on and off so we would not freeze or overheat. Overall, the standards of cleanliness did not match the price.

My stay started out a little rocky but Kelly the hotels manager turned what could have been an awful experience into a positive experience.

Everything seemed good. The beds felt nice but slept like they were warn down. I'm the middle of the night 3 different times the fire alarms went off. At 2 am, 3 am and 310 am. There was no reason for them going off at all and no one from the office said anything nor apologized or anything.
