Was not given handicap friendly room as requested and hotel was not handicap friendly with alot of renovations being done. Front handicap parking/entry ramp was blocked during stay. Rear handicap parking was partially blocked with stone and entry path had obstacles making entry difficult for somebody in a scooter and the doors had no accessible buttons to assist in entry exit and nothing showed anything was in process of being added. Luggage cart had been trashed by workers. It looks like there had been a closet door in room but door had been removed but tracked was never removed and was poorly painted. The only redeeming qualities were the breakfast was good and the pool itself was clean.

We had a nice 2.day stay. Niece loved the pool. Located near shopping malls and grocery/dollar stores. However, it was under construction/painting, so it did have odor of paint and construction noise. Front staff and housekeeping staff very polite. Otherwise, it was a nice get away for my sister, niece and I.

What I didn't like is they were remodeling the hotel, which I would not stayed at if I'd known that. Something needs to be put in the listing to reflect that. They worked, banging and beeping when they backed up equipment 4 rooms down from ours near an entrance until 8pm. My husband and I had been on the road 12 hours and the noise kept us on edge the 2 hours we had to listen to them. I knew complaining wouldn't do any good. They were doing their jobs. But I think 6pm should be the cut off point for construction noise. We stay at your hotel every year we travel from our home in Virginia to the U.P of Michigan.
Do better.

We arrived to renovations but that didn’t stop us. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had recently been renovated. It was clean, comfortable and has plenty of room for 3 people and all our luggage. We will definitely return again. While many friends stayed in Frankenmuth, we decided to stay in Birch Run. What a great idea. Meijer, right behind us. A dollar tree not even a block away. Close to the outlets and all the food choices (yes we want to Tony’s, twice!) we ventured into Frankenmuth, an easy 15 min or less drive from the hotel. It worked perfectly!
