Cove Motel Oceanfront

This is an older hotel but everything was well taken care of. The kitchen didn't have plug ins so the kids had to put the toaster on the floor but were happy they had a toaster for their bagels. Loved watching the sunrise and set from our balcony. The staff was friendly. We were early and Gloria let us check in. Thanks it was a good stay.

Cleanliness and good rate

2 day stay. It was great, room was clean, friendly staff. Loved the oceanfront but parking is tight! I would stay again.

No no no no no. Rooms were broken down, with holes in the bathroom window, for instance, and cracks in the walls, flooring, and bathtub. Stunk of bug spray. Bedding was clean, at least, so I made it through the night, but nothing about this hotel's posting reflects the godawful reality of the place.

Where is the cleaner. Then there is no broom with all the Tile floor so sand was everywhere the whole time.

Joey was awesome. He checked us in and personally made sure the rooms were ready. During our stay we saw him cleaning windows, maintaining the landscaping, and offering to help anyone he came in contact with.

While the rooms had been renovated, the bathroom was not. The shower rod was held in place by a screwdriver. There was no water pressure and barely any hot water. Found several roaches in the room. The elevator had a certificate that expired 2 years ago. There was limited parking and the only snack machine was inside the office which closed at 11. You could hear the other guests from inside the rooms. Never saw a cleaning crew. The pool had mold on the bricks. The sliding door to the balcony would not close completely. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I actually thought I picked the one in Ormond Beach and I went there only to find out I made reservations at the one I am speaking on. The rooms are old, the furniture is very old! When I turned on the bathroom light I touched sand on the wall. I didn’t feel comfortable so I got up and I left the room within an hour. I have to pay attention when booking third party. I wanted my money back but the receptionist said I would have to call Expedia and I didn’t feel like going through all of that. So I left and I lost out on my money.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room had over an inch of water on the bathroom. Attempts by maintence to correct the were unsuccessful and as soon as the air conditioner was turned the room leaked again. In the morning I asked for a different room and it took about 6 hours to get a new room. The second room had bugs in betweent thw matress and box springs. I checked out and requested a refund. Gentleman working agreed deserved a refund but that he would have to get management approval stating "good luck." No refund for either room and had to pay to stay elsewhere.

The room was very humid. The view wasn't really an oceanfront view, but rather a parking lot view.

I have came to this hotel for the past 3 year it was ok this time eas the worst i got there on Friday the refrigerator didnt work told them Saturday morning it was never fixed than Saturday afternoon the ac went out. The couldnt give me another room for the past 3 years this place has been getting worse i will not stay here again in fact i just booked my next stay somewhere else ot used to b a nice place but not no more

Very dirty and old.

This hotel had cockroaches, dead and alive, as well as a dead lizard! I’m packing up to leave. I found someone else’s bathing suit items under my bed. Shower barely sprinkled water pressure was super low.

The ac was a little humid didn't really cool off good

The location is great right in the beach with beach access. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very dated and the water pressure leaves much to be desired. We loved the kitchenette and the kitchen items they have in the room for you. The ocean view room was a great view of the Daytona Beach and the ocean. balcony is small but you can sit out there.
