Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte Northlake

Super easy and efficient check-in. Large property but looks very clean and well maintained.

We stay here often and are never disappointed. If i had to give any criticism, it's that the chlorine in the pool area is fairly intolerable and it's very humid. There is an outdoor pool area, which is often excessively crowded. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to stay!

We stayed at the Drury Inn & Suites over the Memorial Day weekend to attend the Nascar race at Charlotte motor speedway. We stayed at lots of other hotels during our 3 week trip and we particularly found the staff at the Drury Inn & Suites to be SO friendly. They chatted to us in the breakfast room and were genuinly interested in our stay. Rooms were comfortable and big, and the hotel was clean and modern. The added bonus of the Kickback in the evening was great, and plentiful, we managed to attend this twice during our stay. Overall would definitely recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised to see how accommodating this hotel was. We absolutely loved everything about it. We will definitely use this location again.

Great stay!

Great price, breakfast included, excellent location with restaurants and the mall right there...and it is so clean! The check-in staff were super nice and the process was quick. Literally no complaints, and we would stay there again.

Wonderful staff. Kept clean. Room was comfy. Breakfast was standard hot breakfast. We did get a room with a jetted tub but the jets would randomly turn off after about ten minutes, then startle the crap out of you when they randomly turn back on to go through this process over and over. The tub was actually the main reason for staying here. It was my wife’s birthday and our anniversary the week before. We still went out and had a great time but super bummed about the tub. Overall Drury is still one of our favorite’s and if they had the cook to order breakfast like embassy suites they could easily take that Hilton spot. Again….i cannot say enough about how excellent and friendly ALL the staff was. The only small complaint I had was on the smell when you walk through the front door. It smells like a seafood restaurant or maybe the ocean in the lobby. I have a feeling it’s because of the popcorn machine in the lobby. That’s constantly popping popcorn, but it does not smell like popcorn in there. It smells fishy. Just not the smell you expect from a hotel so far from the ocean if that makes sense.

Dinner and drinks were included, that was a very nice add on. The pool was much smaller than it looked in the pictures so it was packed and dirty. It also closed an hour earlier than posted on line. Other than that it was a nice experience.

When we arrived from our trip we had to wait for the room to be cleaned, this was after 3 pm when it should have already been cleaned after a 5 hour trip.

My family and I loved our stay here. The pool was great, they just need to fix the jacuzzi. Barely any jets working so we were sitting in hot water. Despite that it was still a great pool area. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Just enough to have you full and ready to either start the day or settle in for the evening. They still have a restaurant and bar open after the happy hour dinner/drinks but they need to do a better job with the food at the restaurant. The food taste like they put everything in the oven. I ordered wings and tater tots. The wings tasted like the frozen hot wings you buy in a bag at the grocery store. And they were expensive! The tots weren’t crispy at all and tasted very frozen as well. I would skip the restaurant at the hotel and grab either the free dinner or head off site. Overall, it was still a great stay.

Great stay!

They have a pool that closes at 10pm... it's right by a mall and within 8 miles of uptown (downtown Charlotte) which is a straight shot from the expressway. The restaurant is convenient and closes late... they have a happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 that serves snacks/meals, drinks and a hot breakfast included... I recommend this hotel

I like the staff, location, breakfast and friendly atmosphere.

We are normally very happy with our stays at the Drury. Unfortunately, this particular time did not meet our expectations. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly and we could not get it below 71 all night. There was something wrong with the drain in the jetted tub as well as the water jets. Normally we are happy with the options for breakfast but this time there wasn't a great selection and what was there was of poor quality. It's unfortunate because usually we are very happy with our stays. We will continue to go to the Drury when traveling if available, but hope that this location can make the necessary repairs and upgrades to food.

Drury always delivers when it comes to making a guest feel important.

My family and I were traveling for a wedding. When we walked in, we were blown away. Bright lobby, welcoming staff, clean rooms and hotel bar and restaurant. I was beyond please. I don't remember seeing a phone in my room (which was fine with me) but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the parking spaces were tight. We were driving a large SUV and to have enough space to get in and out of your vehicle without issue one would have to take up 2 spaces.
