EVEN Hotel NORWALK by IHG

I've stayed at this property many times, and generally would give it an excellent rating. This visit was just a little off. I still look forward to returning as it's incredibly convenient on/off the highway, has great comfortable bedding, good space, is safe, well lit, and has courteous employees. Always exceptionally clean.

Great place

We occasionally go to Connecticut for events, and two years ago we stayed at this hotel. When we knew we were going back, we didn’t think twice about staying at Even, and we were excited to be back! The rooms are always spacious, comfortable, and clean. Reserve with full confidence! There is also a shopping center with excellent pizza just 6 minutes away walking.

This hotel advertised having a restaurant and bar, this was an exaggeration. The food was ordered through a walk up window, the "bar" had 5 stools and a very limited menu in the lobby area, limited hours for both. Our room didn't have a dresser to unpack, the "closet" was small. No microwave. bathroom had glass doors facing the bed.

The best time

Everything was good with this hotel, I just wish they had Microwaves in the rooms.

Great place and close to Fairfield University

Friendly, clean motel. Only problem was we were told when we checked in we get a complimentary breakfast. When we went to get it, we were told we had to order the breakfast when we made our reservation

Great new concept.

Clean and Quiet. Not a shelf or drawer in the room for folded clothes. Breakfast sub par and expensive.

I liked the unique features of the room…wipeboard for fun or prepping a presentation, workout mat etc in room, fun sayings posted, mint water available, pet friendly. Comfortable bed. Very clean room. Computers available in lobby area too. Not far from eating options.

I did not have a positive experience here. The room was not in good condition - walls falling apart in the bathroom, main door not hung properly to the hallway so it just rattled and let in light and noise. Window was half covered over by what looked like spray paint and the top was covered by two blinds, making it basically a windowless room. Air Con direction was uncontrollable and blew directly on bed all night. Bathroom sink was a drip from a rough looking faucet. And to top it off, there was no hot water in the morning for a shower. I was here for exactly 12 hours, to sleep and to shower during traveling, and this hotel struggled to meet those needs. The staff's response to my complaints were to give me a business card of the manager, who when I called, had a full mailbox. I would not stay here again.

Allowed dogs. It was very accommodating when I had a question. And the other travelers were very friendly as well as the staff.

Very clean room and bathroom, large shower and useful desk were highlights. Prepaid room type was not available and was given drink coupon at check in as a makeup.

It was a very clean and affordable place. Location was very convenient.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and it holds up! It’s in a convenient location, the rooms are always clean, and the gym facility is great!
