Extended Stay America Suites Orange County Katella Ave

When i extended the room i stood at the front desk whole Jose restocked the breakfast bar. When he was done. He came to desk and asked me "did you need help with something" later in the conversation he mentioned "tip money". Weirdest interaction I've had in hospitality ever. Upon check out I realized I'd left my small plant behind. I called he said items like plants and pens get thrown out, he repeated that three times. I called back when i realized my very nice writing pen was left behind as well. I'd wondered why he repeated "pens get thrown out" twice. I think it is foolish to assume that is a coincidence. I think Jose is bad at hospitality and most likely condones theft from guest. He is unpolished with poor social and business skills. I never will trust extended stay again.

Our first room we they gave us, room smelled nasty from the get go and then tv wasn’t working so we had to call and ask for another room. Second room was a little better but still not what I expected.

Amazing staff, very good quality the rooms, the kitchen is really a plus!, also the location of the hotel is amazing because is near to freeway and dining options and plenty of parking lot.

The tub was black and full of dirt and hair

Every employee was courteous and helpful. Felt at safe and at home.

Booked a 2 bed studio and when I got there the room had one bed. Went to the front and the guy said they don’t have 2 bed studios- showed him my booking and the hotel.com site that clearly said 2 bed studio with a picture and description of 2 beds. He said that was a hotels.com issue as they didn’t have 2 bed studios and I should deal with them because there was nothing he could do. No phone # or email for hotels.com, just a virtual chat bot that doesn’t address issues. The desk clerk gave us bedding for my friend to sleep on the hardwood floor but no pillows. It was a terrible night sleep for both of us because I had to give her my blankets and a pillow for more cushioning on the floor. Frustrating that either hotels.com is misleading and selli g rooms that do not exist or hotel was not telling the truth because they overbooked. And “free breakfast” is misleading- they had coffee, hot water for teas and oatmeal packets and wrapped mini muffins.

Location for the Honda Center

The staff was fantastic and very nice the property is very quiet and has plenty of parking. The room itself was clean but it has kind of like a very warm kind of dirty kind of appearance to it because a lot of it is kind of dark and dated and the shower tub looks like it needs a deep cleaning as well. I would stay here if I wanted to save a little money for my time in a hotel room it's better than other hotel rooms I've stayed at but it really is kind of middle of the range kind of appearance and look to it

it was a terrible experience. ones we checked in. there was missing supplies. we ask for hair dryer. they said they were out. roomm was duety. shower wall and ceiling had seem of mold moisture. furniture was broken from corners. hallway of hotel was durty too. they said they have breakfast included and all they give is a moffng and coffee. thats what they call breakfast included.

This location is infested with bed bugs. Do not book here.

Dog poop around property, awful smell

We wanted to stay in a decent priced hotel and we thought this one was cheap for the location. Pictures were pretty good and reviews were ok. After our stay, we will not be coming back. The room was not clean, beds were not comfortable and sheets were stained. We had a poor stay.

The smell made us dry heave. I got sore freshener from front desk but it didn't help. we almost left when we got back from our show. We were willing to drive 6hrs back home without sleep.

Nice and relaxing

Very conveniently located for what we had to do on our trip, the staff was very nice, the place is just run down.

I stayed here last spring and the room was amazing. This year the bed was super soft and lumpy. The air conditioner sounded like a plane was about to take off it was so loud. Water got shut off one morning without notice.

Location is good but the property need some improvement the rooms was a little dirty and they don’t provide with coffee
