Hampton Inn and Suites Yonkers

Check in was quick. After a long flight from CA to NY it was nice to be greeted by friendly staff. Breakfast was good, good variety, very friendly staff. Room with king size bed was a good size room, only complaint would be the pillows very flat. Reason we wont return next week when we fly back - the second day of our stay we left the room about 1 pm and housekeeping were right outside our door when we left. We were out the whole day went to a yankees game. Went to take a shower and no clean towels, bed was niot made. Room had garbage not tajen out so smelled like food.. it was about 11 pm. I called front desk Rebecca was very rude. Told me i could go to front desk to get clean towels. Who when on vacation wants to go to a room that I need to clean and make the bed. She said if you stay more then a couple nights they dont clean room. I asked not even take out garbage or bring clean towels? Rebecca had a rude attitude and saiid its in key card envelope. Inside was a tiny paper that was typed up insert that said housekeeping not done daily. Yet on the bathroom mirror was a sticker that states hampton inn policy they clean room daily. That was enough firvus to go back to staying at Marriott.

Our stay was excellent. The beds are super comfortable. The staff is always helpful. The hotel is clean and close to many sights. We had a great time and we will return.

My family stayed here as part of a visit to the Bronx Zoo. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's amenities (indoor pool, large lounge area with plenty of seating, TVs, bar, and excellent continental breakfast). The hotel's gym was also well equipped and clean, and there was a nice outdoor patio with seating to enjoy your morning coffee on nice days. Our room was clean and as expected. We had a broken alarm clock/radio, one of the lightbulbs over the nightstand was out, and the toilet 'ran'/was noisy for awhile after flushing. We were only there one night, but we did tell the staff about these issues which they said they would take care of. We were within a short drive of a couple of excellent restaurant options, which was also a plus. Overall, this was an enjoyable stay for our needs. If 4 1/2 stars was an option, that's what I would pick, as our only 'issues' were the few broken items in the room. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area!

Property was clean. Falsely advertised that there is an 'On-site Restaurant.' There is not one--only daily breakfast in a lounge area. A bar is also advertised--there is a bar area, but stock is limited and it is not staffed--someone from the front desk has to be contacted to go make/get a drank. I asked for lemon and there was none. The anticipation of a restaurant was the reason I chose the property. I was VERY disappointed, and staff clearly dismissed the situation as an issue to me. However, it's enough of an issue that I will NEVER stay there again and will let others know my experience when asked.

We booked three rooms. The hotel smelled mildewy. There was hair and two bathrooms out of the three rooms we booked one room took extra long wasn’t ready at 3:30 when we checked in so we had to wait for that one but when we checked into that room, I don’t know what they were taking long to clean because it was not clean. It was red stuff on one of the towels on the bed. There was red stuff and hair all over the shower do not think I Will be staying here again

Front desk staff needs to be honest in what they do.

After a 12 hour drive to get there, our room wasn't ready. They held true to thier slogan and gave us a 10%discount on the parking for the 1 hour wait time. Our kids were tired. Next time, I'll call hours ahead to check if my room is almost ready.

I just want to say from checking until me leaving was excellent. The staff was invented and every single way possible. They kept that cool with even sports teams and other events in the hotel going on. It was a pleasure seeing the staff work it was another employee that caught my eye because they helped me so well but the name I do remember is Jaylie. If she is there expect no complications, patience, willing to explain and go beyond. She was awesome and made the stay worth it!

Took my daughter and two nieces to celebrate her 10 birthday we had such a great time. I liked the indoor pool and that operating hrs were late. I also liked that the hotel provides free breakfast that was a plus. The room was also better than my expectations.

When i checked in, the room had no bath towels. They only service the rooms every other day, but when it was my day to have my room serviced, nothing was done. The bed wasn't made, the towels weren't replaced, the trash wasn't emptied, nothing. The hotel is situated in an office park area in a wasteland. I would not stay there again. The Hanging
