Hampton Inn by Hilton Dunn

I have stayed at better Hampton Inns. This one needs some tlc. The room was clean, but furniture old and the one lounge chair was stained. The bed was clean and comfy. Our shower didn’t work we discovered at 6:30 AM, did the best we could to clean up and reported it. That hasn’t been resolved yet. Breakfast was good. I had eggs, sausage and potatoes. Coffee and good and hot.The parking situation was shared with a restaurant/bar on the other side of the parking lot. Our car was fine overnight but since it wasn’t right next to the hotel I worried a bit. The staff was very nice and took my complaint down. I’m waiting to hear from management. I also contacted Expedia and they are in contact with the property.

It was clean

The hallways were like 90 degrees. It seemed as though the property was in disrepair or going through fixes.

Property was very nice but the shower was difficult & water pressure was inadequate

Since it was such a hot day, I rearranged by plans so that we could relax and sit at the pool for a couple hours, the pool was drained, and therefore I had a couple hours to do nothing. I would have gone elsewhere if I had been made aware.

Hotel needs to be updated new furniture

My go-to hotel when in that area. Always had an excellent experience.

Had an issue when returning to room late. All of our things were gone from room. They had removed them because the room was supposedly “Out of Order”! Rushed to front desk and took awhile to get things fixed. Very stressful!

Nice breakfast available. Rooms need refresh.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning.

I did not like that the Wi-Fi was unsecured. Even with using it, was not a good connection. The pool was closed. The gate was locked so you could not sit out in the sun. Staff would not unlock it just to sit out in the sun.

Every time I go to Dunn, North Carolina, the Hampton Inn is my go to spot. I’ve never had a problem with the rooms not being clean. The staff is always great . Breakfast could be a little better not very impressed with that and the area is OK.

The breakfast was poor. No potatoes, no muffins, the only fruit were apples the size of plums, seriously the smallest apples I have ever seen. The decaf coffee was warm. I have stayed at this location several times and have never had a complaint about the the breakfast. I don't know what the problem was this time.

carpet in the room should be remove also the shower curtain should be wash

this hotel needs A serious update / remodel the rooms look old and smell musty i originally booked a king suite only to find the furniture with stains . every single fabric Furniture had some kind of nasty stain.honestly the space was very unsettling. the tv in the main area didnt work The wood Furniture felt greasy and there was an awful smell. the stained and outdated furnishings and odd floor plan looked rather ... menacing?? NOT a place i would feel comfortable sleeping. I asked for another room. the staff was very polite and accomodating. The second room was much better than the king suite, however, while walking on the carpet, I stepped in a wet spot. Don't know what that could've been, but needless to say it was not pleasant again the chair was loaded with stains and there is some kind of a musty smell. though not as bad as the first room, but still.... The bed is comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but I can't get over this sense of a down at the heels very Sad hotel. im sorry. if this place ever got a remodel, I would definitely consider coming back however until then I'll find someplace else.

Customer service need improvement
