Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted. A nice big room with sitting area and a small balcony to sit on for morning coffee. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. While everything was clean, the carpet had stains in both the sitting and bed rooms. Our room faced the inner courtyard with the pool. There are many upkeep issues at the pool. I assume they will renovate this area after the big renovation they are doing on the south side of the resort. The attached water park is small, but probably perfect for families with kids. Not really a relaxing place for adults. The lazy river is overcrowded and not relaxing. The hotel pool is overrun with kids in the evening because the water park is only open until 6pm. It wasn’t too noisy in our room, but we could hear what was happening in the pool area. The hotel location is very good. Besides a view, it is very near a number of good restaurants and the Heard Museum. We were not charged the additional “resort” fee which I think was a wise choice by the administration because it doesn’t really feel like a resort at the moment.

Definitely needs an upgrade and repairs. Everything is old and run down. Teenagers at the pool are rude and don’t even allow outside snacks and food. Go figure they want you to Pay for their food and drinks at the pool, this is outrageous because some nachos and chips and chicken tenders was $34.99.

We enjoyed the River Ranch Resort. The pools were clean and the staff was very friendly.

Staff was very friendly and location was convenient. Rooms need a lot of attention, the couches and carpets were extremely dirty, there are no microwaves in rooms, the water park pools were not always clean.

front desk was really helpful and nice only negative i have would be that the lazy river and slide closes to early at 6pm and the ac was not working in the room so it was really hot !

It was so much fun!

I enjoyed our stay for the most part but the water park was not as nice as others I have stayed at. The lazy river seemed a little sluggish and didn’t move you that well. Not enough tubes the days we were there. Hotel room was average. They were working on updating things while we stayed in 2025, some of the hotel was closed for renovations.

Greg at front desk was very friendly and quick! We got to the property before check-in time and he got us right in. The housekeeping ladies were so fast and did a great job, in and out before we ever knew it! The waterpark was SO much fun! The waitress that worked at Slim Pickins bar was super awesum, my husband just bought a drink (not cheap!) and a random kid accidentally kicked it right into the pool the very second I sat it down (it was frozen so it didn’t leak out but it did however get totally full of chlorine water, was an accident tho, no biggie) and the waitress made a new one right away no hesitation even tho she was so busy running around everyone else’s orders!! The kindness and courtesy of all the staff is much appreciated, we will be back!!

Great experience and location

Over all my family had a great time , only problem was the pools were really packed! We could not enough River Walk.

Besides some of thr parking lot being blocked off in areas it was great, would recommend

Would like to have known the times for the water park. We checked in at 4pm and I thought the water park was open till 10pm but was told it closes at 7! The water slide closed at 5pm!

Not as expected

Pools were dirty. Carpets stained in room and other areas of hotel. River ranch pool/lazy river closed at 5pm which was too early and the bar near the pool closed at 4pm. Only one pool was open until 10pm. Store inside hotel closed at 6pm, made it hard to have any drinks/snacks/food.

Average. The water park seems much larger in the pictures. During our check in another guest had issues with the facility and a third party service. After we left I looked at my bill and they charged $60 more than what I was supposed to pay for the room through Expedia. You can walk to the pool and water park easily. The rooms were okay, they had a nice balcony but nothing like other Hilton hotels. Everything closes so early. Almost everything closes down at 6pm. The slide at the water park is only open certain hours.

We enjoyed our stay. The pools and lazy river were fun. The room was clean. We did not have hot water the first 2 nights but a luke warm shower wasnt horrible considering the temperatures outside. After that the last few nights we had nice hot water. The property in undergoing needed renovations and some things were closed. I would like to revisit af ty er renovations are complete.

I liked the spacious rooms and having a pool so close by.The water park was a lot of fun! The only complaint I have is the tub/shower was very slippery.

Room was by the pool but woke up to roaches by the couch. Not just one but 4. I packed up and left. Reviews were good also. Won’t return.
