We had a wonderful stay New York City Chelsea.

Would recommend to others and stay here again when in NYC

Everything went smoothly.

Long weekend trip with family for fun. Hotel was nice on a quiet street, beds were comfortable. Room was very small but had everything we needed. Breakfast in the mornings was good but area super crowded with limited seating.

No phone in room. No ice bucket. Bathroom light wayyy too bright

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, which I ended up extending by a day as it was perfectly suited for this trip. Great for a solo business traveler: perfect location just a short walk to Penn Station and several subway options, many dining options (for all budgets) also within a short walk, reliable WiFi, comfortable and quiet rooms, and a very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and courteous team (especially the hardworking staff at the breakfast hour)! And it's surprisingly reasonably priced, especially given its very convenient location.

We love the location to the train station and Madison square garden. The staff is always very nice and eager to help with any questions we may have.

The employees were so kind and helpful! Location was perfect; close to food, shopping, subway, etc. The beds were very comfortable! The ONLY thing that would make it better would be a mini fridge in the rooms. :)

Great hotel! Very clean and close to restaurants, stores, etc. Our only complaint was that we were right next to the elevator, and it was a little noisy.

Denied Entry Despite Paid Booking – Unprofessional and Unsafe Staff Review: I had a fully prepaid reservation through Hotels.com, yet upon arrival, I was denied check-in by a front desk staff member who was extremely unprofessional and appeared intoxicated—there was a noticeable odor of alcohol and drugs. Despite presenting my valid confirmation, I was refused entry and told to leave the premises without explanation. The receptionist’s behavior was hostile, dismissive, and completely unfit for a guest-facing role. This occurred late at night and left me scrambling to find emergency accommodations, resulting in over $500 in unexpected expenses. This experience was not only a breach of contract but also raised serious safety and ethical concerns. I’ve escalated this issue to IHG Corporate and will be pursuing formal complaints with consumer protection agencies if proper accountability is not enforced. Travelers should be warned: this property’s management appears to tolerate unfit staff behavior, and guests risk being turned away even with confirmed, paid reservations.

Convent to facility using for surgery. Desk attendant very helpful for restaurants. Over and beyond !

Great stay , great staff this will be my go to hotel for NYC.

The staff are great, location also great. But on the rooms make sure the stuff work. If something is not working tell them at the front desk every day all day if can. Because they will take the taxes if complaining about something is broken they reduse thr amount of the taxes. If you find something dirty make sure you tell the front desk. For example the phone didn’t work at all all 5 night 6 days I stay at the property. Make sure they change the shower curtain they’re are dirty.

Property was in good condition, only 1 lift servicing the hotel caused frustrations with waiting times on busy periods. Breakfast was excellent

Fight broke out on the floor with banging on walls all night, and my room phone had no dial tone so I couldn't even call the front desk. Incredibly thin walls, so I didn't sleep all night, as I didn't feel safe enough to leave my room to see what could be done about it. Also just weird and outdated room, with screens stuck in the AC unit to act as filters that were clearly not doing anything.

I had a great stay here! Breakfast was great and had many choices. The staff did an excellent job keeping everything clean and restocked during the busy breakfast. Room was clean and well-stocked.

The rooms were small and shabby. We had two rooms on separate floors, one of which had broken doors on the closet and window shades that didn't work. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Not a lot of extras in the bathroom, but it was clean as well. Considering how packed the hotel was, our floor was very quiet during the night. While the breakfast buffet had a good number of hot and cold beverages and food choices, the seating area was very cramped and crowded. Not comfortable at all. Several people took their food to the outdoor patio because the dining area was full. Al fresco in January...brrr!! The young lady at the desk was excellent! It was very busy when we arrived in the afternoon as well as when we checked out the following morning. She was there both times and was poised, professional, and efficient. I complimented her on the great job she was doing under such hectic conditions. At that point, she relaxed a bit and we had a brief, friendly conversation. I wish I'd gotten her name so I could make the "higher-ups" aware of what an asset she is to the company! All things considered, the hotel is in a great location and was just a short walk to the event we attended at MSG Theater. I would stay there again.

Very small room with poor sound insulation. Breakfast was a joke. Unable to even get a seat.

Included breakfast which had nice variety of hot and cold options. Excellent value hotel, especially for NYC/Manhattan.
