Very nice hotel and well located. Surprised that the AC did not work the first night. Also, they bill $200 per night for incidentals. Shocked by that.

I had a great stay here! The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Sophy at the front desk, who provided great service to me on several occasions. Very charming and unique hotel with a great location. I wouldn’t mind staying here again!

I stay here each time I come to NY. Its location is the biggest draw. I had an issue after midnight kids running and screaming - but they handled it swiftly and allowed me to go back to sleep.
Staff is friendly and kind - hotel is well appointed and clean.

The hotel location is excellent. And it is clean. However, the room was very small and the beds were tiny (too small for two adults so one of us had to share the bed with our 8 yr old son). On the first night I asked for more pillows and they said they had no more pillows. Finally the soundproofing is not good enough for a 5 star hotel. On our last night we couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the neighbors (we could hear everything they were saying). I will not go back.

Staff members are helpful and pleasant.
I would recommend a check of your bill, issues are easily resolved, but add ons especially with the mini bar can occur.

The good: great location (close to Grand Central and a couple of Subway stations), quiet rooms (11th floor), reasonable living space, great shower, and neat lobby/bar areas. The not-so great (not a deal-breaker): the roof-top terrace on the website is only for penthouse guests, the TV/remote in the room is very slow, a resort fee.

Fab hotel, wonderful room on the higher floors, but the people on reception and the concierge with the exception of one (I can't remember their name) were not particularly friendly or welcoming to the point of being snobby. Such a pity when we pay so much to stay at the hotel.
