Many restaurants around that are walkable 5-10 minutes. Easy parking. Easy check in. Nice bar/food area. Clean and safe area with nice staff. Indoor/outdoor heated pool made the experience more pleasant. Very nice and clean rooms with coffee makers and large fridge. Has Netflix available to log into on the tv. Room service available. Good prices

Hotel needs upgrades. The double bed rooms were stuffy and had a smell. The beds were full size. At other hotels the double bed rooms have queen beds. We were pretty crowded. The small chair had a red food stain and behind the chair there was another food stain. They did not look like they were cleaned up. There was no microwave or mini fridge.

This was our second time staying at this Marriott Hotel on Louisiana and let me just say for the price of the room, you would think certain things would be kept up really good being the locations its in next to up town anf again the price. Last time we stayed our shower had sewage coming up from the drain. This time we stayed the air conditioner in our room did not work, neither did the fan in the bathroom, and you cant open a window either so there was completely 0 air circulation and made it difficult to sleep.

Toilet was low to ground (18") and did not flush properly When arrived at room towels, wash cloths and bath mat were in short supply When brought to attention of front desk, the response was "be there in a half hour" When checking out I brought the issues to the front desk. The response "We'll let our maintenance and housekeeping aware of the situation "
