Great hotel located on Ocean Drive right on South Beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Short walk to main restaurants on Ocean Drive. The room showed some signs of wear and tear but nothing major. Comfy beds, amazing balcony and view of the beach. Two swimming pools with chilled music playing. The hotel has two restaurants but we only went to Lolo’s, the food was fantastic. Will return.

As a long time Bonvoy member and owner of two Marriott timeshares in Palm Desert and Maui, the Stanton is the most run down, dirty Marriott we have ever stayed. The suite floor was sticky all over and the couch was stained. There was only 1 working elevator in the hotel. Further, despite having member status, we were denied a request to check in before 4 and only given a 30 min time extension to check out. When expressing our concerns with multiple front desk staff, we were essentially dismissed and ignored. The treatment and customer experience we have received was the worse we received in the over more than 20 years we have been customers of the Marriott brands. We still like Marriott but will never set foot in the Stanton again.
