The access to our room due to elevator repairs was ridiculous. Long lineups.
All other Marriott hotels I start in as an elite member have coffee/tea in the room. I did not appreciate having to go to the lobby or even further for these services. We will not be back

I booked a short getaway with my niece to alleviate some stress from my husband passing away from an aggressive cancer a few months back. Upon arrival everything was great. Our room was further away than I expected but I also didn’t request anything special. However my “peace” was short lived when every morning I was woken up early from drilling and hammering in the adjacent rooms. Why would you put anyone in a casino hotel close to unwanted noise?

Bathroom/bathtub drains were clogged and wouldn’t drain for the duration of our weekend stay. The bathroom molding had black spots around the bathtub and windows were super dirty affecting the view. In addition the sunshade had visible stains. The guests next door were so loud both nights I had to keep my television on the entire stay. I finally had to call the concierge Saturday to complain because it sounded like there was a party going on. Only one pool was open which wasn’t mentioned prior to booking, plus the sister properties were also using the pool and hot tub area. This put a damper on things for my son’s ten birthday vacation. We had plenty of options in the area when booking with this property. I am overall disappointed. The only great experience was the Japanese Iron Chef Restaurant and the Concert at the arena.

It was a horrible experience. It took forever to check into the hotel because they said the time weren't ready even though check in was at 3 we had to wait an hour standing there and I finally went and complained and they found us a room. Then there was a GIANT line just to use the elevators to get to our room because only 3 of the 8 elevators in that tower were working. Any time we wanted to go up or down we had to wait almost an hour just for the elevators. It was a horrible experience.

I didn't like the mile long lines for the elevators. Or the wait times. Also I know most hotels upcharge for food, but this was outrageous. I went to buy a small bag of chips a drink and gummies for me son- again a small bag. The cashier said $42.00. Unbelievable, I went to a grocery store to buy a few items. Bought a case of soda, only to discover MGM charges you a daily fee if you use the fridge in your room. I have never heard of this. most hotels charge you if you use items in a bar fridge, But they don't put a code access fridge and charge you to store person items, Also most places leave a little coffee maker with sugar and cream-- MGM does not. It is all a money grab at this hotel.

The property is outdated and needs a revamp or overhaul. The rate for the room was great but of course resort fees were at 50 dollars per night and not sure what resort fees include. They have a strict notice in the room to NOT use the fridge or store anything as would be charged. No coffee in the room and the Pool areas were going through some construction. Elevator was in repair as well so long wait getting down to the hotel lobby.
