Motel 6 Stephenville, TX

The overall room was dingy and dirty, bathroom was filthy (would not use shower even with shower shoes on). Toilet did not work (would not flush). Paint missing in large areas on doors and walls. Doors not secure (seemed like an inside door used for outside). Not a big deal but no micro, refrigerator, no coffee maker, and tiny TV.....less then basic

There was roaches in the shower , tv didn’t work and also had roaches wake me up in the middle night crawling all over me.

Was dangerous and heartbreaking. Needed a place to stay for my great new first week of work and had to leave after an hour. And had to cancel my 4 nights. Fire alarm was removed and a dryer sheet stuffed into it in the room. That was only one thing...see pics...woops app won't let me upload pics. Damn ghetto app.

It was good price was good. Room was clean. From desk worker was nice!

Nice place Small town feel

Our stay at Motel 6 Stephenville did not go smoothly. After checking in we could not get the room key to open the door. The front desk reprogrammed the key and then it was fine. We found out the ice maker was broken so we had to leave to buy ice. Then the door would not stay closed. We went to the office and they returned with us to close the door. They couldn’t close it either. I asked for a different room but was told they would have to check with the manager. Eventually we did get another room that was satisfactory, except for the roaches. I returned to the front desk to ask for a receipt for our stay and was told they could not give me one because I booked through Expedia. And that I would have to print it myself. However, I did not book through Expedia. so no receipt. The woman at the front desk was trying to be helpful but the circumstances were not optimal.

You get what you pay for and for $81, this was a good property. We felt safe. We liked that the flooring was laminate, wood-look flooring instead of carpet. The beds were clean and comfy. The tub/shower was old, but water was hot and got the job done.

The property needs attention like paint , the door didn't open or close properly, TV with bad reception, machine ice not available and no pool available. Staff needs customer service course.

Went to front desk and asked for more towels, was told housekeeping would bring some. Never did.

The room was dirty, the hotel has no pool just a dirt filled pool with construction debris everywhere. Sheets stained, bathroom horrible. Hair on bed. (Should of just stayed in my truck) booked because of graduation, should never of made reservations...

The rooms felt grungy

When I checked in, they had no record of my reservation. Polite gentleman behind the desk said Hotels.com has a bad habit of not following through with reservation and payment information. Fortunately, I printed a copy of my reservation and was able to reference it on check in.

We were there for a college tour so we just needed a quick sleep and a shower. Hotel was better than I was expecting after reading the reviews. It is certainly an older, cheap hotel but we would stay again. It was fairly clean and the front desk gentleman was very friendly at check in.

Easy & quick check in. But pool area is an eyesore.

Motel room was full of roaches , i asked for a refund cause it was nasty they said yes its been refunded back to your card but i never received that refund.

For a quick overnight stay, this was perfect.
