Very comfortable and well thought out room for being a small space. Very clean, friendly staff and super fast elevators which is important when you're on the 33rd floor. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was delicious.

It was a great stay. Really no complaints just wished we had a bigger room with bed not so close to window. Had to climb into left side of bed because it was pinned to wall and window. Small room for 2 people.

I'm disappointed with the bar bill. I tried to use my $30 credit and was charged triple for two drinks. I recommend taking photos of your receipts because the charges are excessive. Overall it was a good stay, I was able to check in early at no charge and leave my bags after check out.

My wife and I loved our recent stay with Motto. It was highly convenient in terms of location, as we were within short walking distance to our Broadway shows. The hotel itself is safely located, and felt wonderfully secure as soon as you approached the main entrance. The room itself was efficiently laid out. My only gripe was that our room window had a fairly bright advertisement billboard just outside. At night it was bright enough that, even with the blackout curtain in our room, still prevented the room from being pitch-black dark. But, we were usually pretty tired at the end of the night from our tourist visits throughout the city, so we slept ok, but it was definitely noticeable. But the location, cleanliness, and feelings of being safe, definitely overcame the ‘light’ issue from the billboard at night. I would 100% stay with Motto for future visits to NYC!

Centrally located with easy access to public transportation. Broadway shows are right at your doorstep. Small room with limited storage place of clothes and jackets.

The listing said there was valet parking, but there is not. Otherwise, rooms are very small but have everything you need.

The rooms are compact and clean, perfect for somewhere needed just for sleeping, showering and keeping your gear safe. Only two negatives: 1. The aircon unit is very loud and had to be on non stop due to warm weather when we visited. 2. We wished there had been better communication about the fee taken at check in and how the daily credit is deducted from that that and when it would be processed. Just no clear info on that provided and we were left to ask all the clarifying questions. My feedback would be to either increase the daily credits to per person or do away with them all together and just charge less. $10 per days goes absolutely nowhere and is not enough of an incentive to use the bar/restaurant. The bike codes were a hassle to get, only good for 30mins for one person per day, and then we couldn't even use them...so the perks you get are not really useful. Overall we were happy. Location was super handy and the room provided what we needed it to...good sleep 😴 We would stay here again.

Air conditioner did not work the whole weekend, despite staff trying to fix it. The room was hot, sticky and uncomfortable due to that. We called the front desk multiple times to have someone come up and fix it each night, sometimes people came to fix it and other times no one answered the phone. The fire alarm went off for hours starting at 4:45 am on the last morning we we decided to leave at 6 am. For $1000 for 3 nights, you’d expect better.
