Location was great if you have a vehicle rental, but otherwise I imagine public transit is not the most accessible.
Banana bread was the highlight, the natural environment, and the yoga class was great.

Amenities and staff were fantastic.The lobby is open to the outdoors, very unique place. Atmosphere was so refreshing and relaxing. The outdoors were an oasis with the views, landscaping and seating areas on the water. The room was comfortable , great bed with porch seating area overlooking the water. The room interior could use some updating but was clean and comfortable. We’d definitely return, it’s not your typical hotel but a unique retro experience of being in nature with a true tropical vibe.

This resort is absolutely stunning! We stayed in a two bedroom cottage on the water and the views were breathtaking and the nature all around was so peaceful. The room and bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the morning sunrise with the friendly neighborhood cat. All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly. It was easy to travel in and out and get around the island. This place is an absolute gem and we hope to be back! Thanks for a great weekend!

This property is not made for elderly or disabled. Steep slope and many steps. It would have been nice to have something more relaxing to sit in to watch TV. 2 chairs, same as ones at pool were very uncomfortable for TV watching, reading and no table to eat at. Property is beautifully lush though.

We figured this would save us some north shore driving time, and be a different feel to staying in Honolulu. It's a nice little hotel setup (a number of small buildings) in a quite residential neighborhood. The common use BBQ facilities and the full kitchen in our room were excellent. I would say for longer stays, you'd be able to save a significant amount on food this way. We cooked up some nice fresh fish on the grill along with some grilled bread. This isn't really a resort in the usual sense, though they do offer some kayaks, and definitely read through reviews before getting excited at the relatively low cost. This is a fine place to stay, but ended up not really saving us a lot of driving time. It's a long way to restaurants for example.
Anyway, staff was great as well, and this felt so much lower pressure and less corporate than pretty much any other place I have ever stayed on Oahu.

Beautiful area! Loved the view of the bay and mountains from the lanai and we had a blast using the resorts paddle boards. It was nice to sit on the floating lounges and enjoy meals with a great atmosphere. Very peaceful to get away from the main tourist areas.
Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, but wasn’t quite as luxurious as expected for the price.
Overall we had a great stay!
I would note- If anyone in your party has any mobility concerns this might be a tough place to stay- lots of steep hills, stairs, and slick spots on the property.

The property is very nice and provides a tranquil and relaxing experience just a 30 minute drive from Honolulu. There is a twice a week boat tour that took us snorkeling near a coral reef and then to a large sand bar. The pool area and hot tub are nice as well as the options to use kayaks and paddle boards. The fitness room is probably under utilitzed since most days I was the only person inside. Overall the area is quiet and staff were helpful.
In the room where we stayed the sliding glass door was difficult to open and close and the couch was difficult to sit on since the cushion would slide out from under us or the whole frame would move suddenly.

This was our second stay at Paradise Bay. Jackie at the front desk was very kind and helpful at check in and in booking us a kayak for the next day. There were a lot of stairs to get to our room and I have a lung condition so next time Ill try and get a room with less stairs and closer parking. Room was nice and clean.

The staff is super helpful and friendly and the amenities offered were great! We loved the kayaking and yoga! The common areas were very nice. The only issue were the very noisy air conditioners. It kept us up all night, as it did our son, in another room. Unfortunately, we were told that the only way to fix them was to replace them, which didn't happen. Hope they do this soon!
