What Guests Say About Their Stay

The hotel greatly exceeded my expectations, and offered great value (roughly $150/night) for a four-day stay near Broadway. The huge reception area/bar was a great place to hang out and meet visitors. The security was tight with cameras and restricted elevator access by keycard. The room was a little small, but was generously furnished. I heard no noise from other rooms. And the cleaning staff, maybe with a Chinese cleaning contractor (all spoke Chinese with limited English), was very efficient, proactive, and courteous. They extended my checkout by nearly an hour. I hope to stay at Paramount again.

Gave me different room without telling me. 2 bunkbeds instead of 2 double beds. The sink was dirty and occupies space which already tiny for no reason. Felt like I stayed in jail for a night.

The hotel is pretty conveniently close to Times Square, which is a huge plus. The lobby is beautiful as you see in the picture. However, we booked the hotel because I wanted to have access to their parking. When we got there, there was no more spaces for us. They referred us to another hotel down the block, the Marriott, where we paid $85/night. It was completely unexpected. We had to text or call that hotel 30 mins before or if not, we would have to wait an hour. We called that hotel and they rudely to us to them but when we would, half of the time, the text wouldn’t go through. It was just super inconvenient that we had to go to another hotel. We also asked for early check-in and there was none, understandably, because it’s summer, but we had a show to attend, so they held our bags for $2/bag. We had a lot of suitcases/bags. In the span of a hour, we spent so much and none of this was communicated to us. They kept sending us everywhere with half information. I just knew about the amenity fee. At check-out at 3:30 AM, nobody was at the front desk. I waited for a few minutes and when nobody came, I said hello. There was man hiding and sitting behind a wall on the computer. He clearly did not want to assist me and told me to put my key card in the acrylic box displayed at the front desk. I told him that I didn’t have it on me. I would have to searched my bag and I couldn’t because I had a flight to catch. He finally checked me out at my insistence. Just keep this mind.

Found a bed bug. Old building with wallpaper peeling off. AC did not work with the 1st room. Waited half an hour for tech but no one showed up and I had to go to front desk and go another room. Internal AC was broken and portable AC was running but the way how they installed was that the window was half way opened and they put the portable AC on the bottom of window with wood patched. I could here people taking from the streets and even with loud sirens. Got another room which was way smaller (hard to move from the room even though there was only a double bed. Sewing system in the tub did not work well. Another small bug found from washroom but it was not a big deal after all the experience I had with this hotel. Do not recommend at all and will never book with them.

I liked the property area, it definitely is down the street from Times Square and it provided a safe stay for us. However it definitely needs to be renovated, the elevator maintenance is horrible we waited too long to get up and down. The bathroom we stayed in was outdated and had slow drainage when we brushed our teeth and showered. I don’t think it was a bad hotel it was a decent one for the price. However in the pictures it doesn’t show you exactly how small the room is. The rooms are so small that 2 people barely fit nor had walking space to move around or even stretch our legs and arms.

I booked and paid for 2 double beds through Expedia but when I checked in, only a queen bed was available. My colleague and I were stuck sharing a bed since the hotel was sold out and Expedia did not honor the reservation I paid for. I reached out to Paramount and was told a manager would reach out to me. This never happened

Great location, small room, the bathroom and shower area very small. The bathrooms and showers are bigger on a cruise ship. Thin walls - you can hear anytime someone was opening or closing their doors or walking by.

The lounge area in the main lobby was quite nice and comfortable, though the music choice never suited the decor and vibe (usually they played hip-hop music when I think jazz or indie might have better suited the space). There were a couple of nights where a singer came and did covers and she was excellent. The bar was quite expensive ($19 for a gin & tonic). I also found the staff were generally fairly and pleasant. Once small gripe was the elevators. Only 4 are available and for 19 floors and the number of people going up and down, you'd end up waiting a long time it you were on a higher floor (I was on floor 17), and youd stop 4-6 times on the way up or down once you finally got on. My room was small as expected (I stayed in a single, twin bed room) but clean, comfortable, and all you'd really need. Chromecast on the tv in the bedroom was nice for entertainment. If you don't expect to spend time in your hotel room other than to sleep, then you'll be fine. However, there was no coffee pot or kettle in the room, so you'd have to go down to the 4th floor for ice or hot water - just in case you don't want to be buying a coffee every morning. If you're going to see shows, it's a really good spot. You're right across from Hamilton and most shows are within a few blocks. It's the Times Square area, so there are lots of people and traffic, but you'll get where you need to get to in a 10 minute walk. Cross 8th Avenue into Hell's Kitchen, and there are a lot of places you can eat

Great location in reference to Broadway. Lobby is gorgeous and I love the lights and color scheme. Elevators always had a line. Bathroom shower constantly ran and had some mildew by the drain. Feather pillows are not the best nor are they hypoallergenic.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room had a lack of maintenance and damage throughout. The phone did not work, walls had chipped paint, the bathtub was chipped and dirty. Lack of amenities and broken amenities in the room. Some of the furniture was dirty and stained.
