Great hotel,good location, lots of parking.

No hot water, room cleaning not complete, carpet damaged

The location was good. You could walk to the beach. The supermarket was not far away. Parking was right in front of the room.

The location is the saving grace of this property. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be pride of ownership. We paid a lot for a room that had ripped carpet, a jenky closet door, flickering light bulb, empty soap dispenser in the shower, and clumps of black hair throughout the room. We opted to leave early because we didn't want to be stuck there especially during the incoming snow storm (the area is currently under avalanche warning, and we are glad we got out or else we would likely still be stuck there!) The front desk staff were dismissive of our concerns and the manager (not present) refused to honor our request for a refund due to the above reasons. Their apathetic and inflexible attitude is ultimately what motivated me to leave a negative review, which I don't do often. They won't care about this review but hopefully other travelers will be warned. If you value hospitality, stay away.

We really don’t have any complaints about this place. It is as pictured and very cozy for a couple’s weekend getaway.

The hotel is beautiful from the outside, but walking into the lobby and then seeing the rooms it’s very outdated and not in the best shape. Our room had an ancient pink heart shaped jacuzzi tub, and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. I don’t recommend, disappointing to say the least.

Postmarc was super clean and quiet... everything you want in a hotel when enjoying festivities in South Lake Tahoe! We loved the accommodations.

Very comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay as a couple wanting a relaxing weekend. We found the room a bit dated but we did go on a holiday weekend and this was the only room left. There were other rooms that were more remodeled.

Very nice place

Although the place has aged, it is super quiet in and around the facility. My only complaint is 1 room will have a horrible mattress and really good pillows and another room will have a great matress and horrible pillows. Bed comfort need huge improvement, but dont be fooled by other places that have jacuzzis inside such as Secrets Inn. That place is crazy loud all around. People live there and I didnt feel safe with such old locks no extra security bar. Postmarc is much quieter, fancier, safer and cleaner. Just please upgrade your beds/pillows please.

Booked this hotel for the soaking tubs and I’m glad I did. The rooms are cozy and warm. There are cosmetic imperfections in the room that are noticeable if you work in construction but I would still stay here again for the tubs and proximity to the lake

I absolutely love this hotel in South Lake Tahoe. I’ve stayed here several times and I am never disappointed. This hotel continues to stay clean, offering free coffee and tea, and the friendliest staff. This hotel is located next to several shopping and eats in a walkable distance. I will continue to book my stay at this hotel everytime I visit Tahoe.

This is a fairly basic hotel. Seems ready for a refresh. Simple amenities, with the pluses being: good WiFi, generous amount of good towels and good shower. The free coffee was not very good with non-dairy creamer packs only. The beds were clean but well-worn. Would return if the price is right…
