Quality Inn Decherd / Winchester

Toilet wobbled when you sat down on it, felt like you were going to fall off of it. There was hair left in the tub. There was pee or something dirty on the bottom part of the toilet.

Smears of brown dirt on walls. Toilet paper dispenser hanging out of the wall. Stairs up to second level rusty and crumbling. No room available downstairs unless I paid an additional fee-$50.

The clerk when we checked in did not seem very professional. She warned us more than once if we broke or stole anything we would be charged for it. We are a married couple (50 years) gray haired, no animals with us and in the area for a college graduation. We don’t drink more that three or four glasses of wine a YEAR. Really no threat of a raucous party. We found a bug on the towels in the bathroom and had to ask for a roll of toilet paper because no extra was left in room and there was only a partial or small roll left.

So not recommend!!! Stay down the road at the Best Western. Stains on everything from the comforter to the chair in the room. So dirty!!! Horrible pillows and uncomfortable bed. No toilet paper when we arrived had to go get some. Refused to give us more than 1 towel so we went to Walmart and bought two towels and 1 washcloth. Check in lady was very nice and said her boss told her not to give our towels. Breakfast gross.

Breakfast was stale. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower was painful on sensitive body parts. After we went to breakfast and came back to our room, the key didn't work. Attendant told us this happens every day...the keys stop working at 9:00. Ugh.

The bed was great! Pillows as well. Very attentive staff. Clean, safe. A nice stay

Dirty walls, linens, doors. Toilets clogged and manager did not have a plunger available. Very substandard property. We checked out and found another hotel. Working with Expedia to hopefully get a refund.

Very economical which was important factor for reservation. Very friendly manager and night staff. Room was clean. Low stars mainly due to bathroom door didnt close! Water pressure was insanely high so shower was shorter than desired.

When I first tried the key card it didn’t work, the lady behind the desk told me to pull the door toward me, and it should work. Well it did. However, We entered the room every thing looked okay, until we turned on the TV. Then I picked up the phone to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. After three trips to the front desk, and the lady telling me how to fix the tv on my own, she finally came to the room and did get it fixed. When she checked the phone someone had cut the phone line cord. The coffee maker in the room did not work. There was a hole in the sheet on my bed, the door frame was busted, which didn’t feel safe, I asked to change rooms and was denied. when I paid $100 for the room I expected a better quality of service from the Quality Inn wont stay there again

The gentleman that checked me in was nice, the lady that checked me out couldn’t print me a receipt for my stay, the continental breakfast was not much to chose from, she stated when I checked out that they would email me a receipt. I never received that either.

Friendly staff, comfy bed

Just okay. Lots of cigarette butts in parking lot and other trash. Only came in 3 times to make the bed for the week we were there. Ran out of hand towels. The shower spray was so hard the water splashed around the curtain and onto the floor. When I used the bath mat to wipe it up it turned brown. So you could tell the floor hadn’t been mopped in some time.

There was mold all over the bathroom walls and ceiling. There were roaches all in the room. I checked out immediately upon checking in and was told that I could contact Expedia for my refund. Expedia tried to get my refund but the hotel denied it. I literally only spent five minutes in the room and I did not receive my money back so it was $200 down the drain

The room was so dirty gross, the outlets did not work, and the air vent in the bathroom was held up with duct tape. Worst of part of all is the The locks on both connecting doors to the next room did not lock

We were in town for a funeral. We didn't have many options due to my mom's disability - we needed an accessible room and they had one. The bathroom and shower are accessible - the room itself is not. There were two double beds and nearly no room to maneuver around the space. My mom users a rollater and we could barely get it between the bed and the dresser and table and chair in the space. The room itself is in need of a deep cleaning. Walking on the floors left my socks nearly black on the bottom. The shower curtain was both torn and horribly stained. When we checked in we were given only two towels and two wash cloths, no hand towels. The two washcloths were stained brown. I took them to the front desk for replacements and was given two "clean" wash cloths. I asked for additional towels the next day and was given only one set of towels and told that was all they had. This was a pattern until the next to last day when we were finally able to get two sets of fresh towels. We weren't given any coffee cups to go with our in-room coffee maker. We did have a good sized fridge, though it was in need of defrosting. Microwave did work. Breakfast was standard, though most days there was something missing, whether it was plates/utensils, or food. Some days the food would be gone long before the breakfast end time. One morning I went to make waffles and there was no batter and no syrup at 8am. The wi-fi was nearly non-existent. Even basic surfing was nearly impossible.

Room had dead bugs in the corner on the floor. Someone was riding a riding lawn mower outside in the parking lot until about 9:30 the first night. I declined housekeeping the first morning at 10:30 am because I had just woken up and later went down to try to get clean towels for the next morning and was told that I could not get a clean washcloth or hand towel but could only get two towels. She asked me if I wanted my dirty washcloth back??? I declined. Second night there were quite a few men outside making noise and playing music right next to my room. There wasn’t even a waste basket in the room. Very disappointed.
