Residence Inn by Marriott Albuquerque Airport

Hotel well located less than 10 minutes from airport and rental car center. Clean, staff nice. Bed too high off the ground about 30", shower pressure not so good. Ask for a room facing the "hotel parking lot" and not the school side, can get noisy on that side in the mornings. Restaurants close by same for gas stations.

Good competitive price, very nice suite.

Property is in amazing shape. Enjoyed the stay a great deal and slept very well.

Lewis, one of the managers, was more than accommodating. He made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. That attitude was reflective in the rest of the staff.

The ability to have a 2bdr 2 ba room with kitchen for the same or less than other hotels in the area made for a very relaxing trip while in NM for soccer games. Everything was great- got free ice for water bottles and warm choc chip cookies when coming in at night. Can’t beat that

So disappointed in this hotel. We picked the hotel based on reviews and the fact that it had a pool and hot tub. Both were under construction. The breakfast selection was very limited and there were no plates at all. The tv in our room didn't work and we had to be moved rooms as it couldn't seem to be fixed. The daytime front desk woman was super friendly and tried to make up for the issues.

I arrived late to this property and left early to be picked up by a ride south. My stay there was perfect. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast was good.

I use the property twice during a trip to Colorado. My first experience at this hotel, the water wasn’t working. I could not shower after my long car ride nor could I even brush my teeth at the sink. I had to use a bottle of my own water. Luckily the water was back on so I could shower in the morning. My second adventure there on my return trip no hand soap was available on the vanity and I had to ask for it.

Unfortunately the boiler were down, so showers were cold. We were warned about the condition and given some marriott chase card points.

It was comfortable and easy in and out.

Pool not working, breakfast compared to other Marriott properties was not great.

The hotel itself was nice. Location is quiet and it’s near restaurants. We felt safe that there’s a locking gate around the hotel, except this is the first convenience that wasn’t working. Next thing was the pool was closed for maintenance. When we went to the elevators upon check-in, you could smell a burning motor smell. We figured they were working on the fence. Upon check out the next day, the elevators were down. The burning motor was the elevators going out. Some had to use the stairs. Luckily we were on the second floor and o my had one suitcase and are young. If anyone else had more suitcases or little kids or are older, the elevators not being maintained is a bigger problem! Luckily we don’t think anyone got stuck in the one that went out! Staff was ok. Housekeepers were nice, those that spoke to us. Checkin staff seemed a little overwhelmed with a few families trying to all check in at once. Breakfast was ok. They ran out of food rather early when breakfast still had an hour left. Food was good. Probably not a hotel I’d stay at again.

The pool was not accessible due to maintenance which I wish they would have let us know before hand. I booked there to swim. However, it was still a nice stay. Staff was friendly, and room was cleanly.

The individual providing reception at the motel was very unhelpful. I don’t know what he had on his agenda, but it was impossible to get anything as far as courtesies or amenities from him. The snack bar was empty. The gentleman said he could not do anything about it while 30 or 40 people Remained partying in the front reception area. I was very happy with the room and very disappointed with the service. It took until the following morning to even get someone to pay attention to our frustration.

The room was clean and spacious. Parking was well lit and there was a gate. Front desk staff was a bit curt and rude, which was atypical for my experience with this chain.
