Residence Inn By Marriott Anaheim Resort Area

Our room was very clean. Staff was really friendly. The kids had a blast there. Arcade was fun for the kids. Will stay again for next family trip to Disneyland.

We recently stayed at the Residence Inn for a family trip and were quite disappointed with the condition of the rooms. The bathroom had a leaking toilet and a stained bathtub, which made our stay uncomfortable. The carpet was old, musty, and clearly in need of replacement. While the complimentary breakfast was reasonable and the location offered a convenient drive to Disneyland, the overall upkeep of the property did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return unless major renovations are done.

I came in early for check in, just to inquire if there were any of my selected room types on my preferred reservation. I was greeted with a smile and a very happy individual by the name of Jocelyn (***I THINK***). The Team Member / Associate asked if I had a floor preference or location (I did not). She made my check in easy and flawless as she had room #301 available. I accepted gladly as, she thanked me for being a returning guest and went over all the property amenities; just in case I had missed something in the past stays. Now the sad part is parking, and rooms are obviously top loading guests and extra family members into the rooms. I worked Hospitality and knew how this effects guest satisfaction scores as, rule abiding, one vehicle per room, and the morning breakfast affects our and others stays. The bottom line of room per rev-par along with scored makes the ongoing challenges along with turnover a miracle alone to work. I know the property charge's 30.00 for GUEST ONLY parking per one vehicle per room or purchase extra fee parking for additional vehicles. I think that if any honest guest purchases the extra parking should be directed to the Hyatt Parking Lot that I have had to go to on every stay, I have been at this lovely property. I understand that having a PPO officer to patrol the lots and grounds is hard to have private person impounds; however, you're paying guest suffers that disposition because; of the fears of liabilities.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was a bonus! Room was spacious. We'll definitely come back again.

It was close to disneyland got it, but the sofa bed for my kids was it very old?And the mattress was worn now needs to be upgraded totally

-No restaurant in building -Pool should be heated especially in the late afternoon when the shade is in the pool area -the hot tub should mention that this is for adults as you don’t need children splashing around

VERY NICE STAY. NICE BREAKFAST BUFFET. STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. IT IS KIND OF FAR TO WALK TO DISNEYLAND.

We will gladly come back

Convenient parking, complementary breakfast. Game zone on, my kiddo loves it.

The hotel staff did not provide new towels, so we ran out. Called for service and there wasn’t any so we had to wait a while for it.

Meh property, needs upgrades immediately. Shows its age. We were first in a room on the 4th floor, checked in around 7:30pm, windows were open in the room, seems strange but in a minute we figured out why. The bathroom was leaking and the carpets leading up to the bathroom was soaking wet and smelly. I called front desk and the immediately knew of the problem and moved us to a room in 7th floor, which I appreciate. But why bother sending us to a room with issues and make us unpack and then repack and move? The room on 7th floor was better but definitely shows its age. Bathroom flush would run all night if we didn't leave the knob at a particular angle. Breakfast is mediocre. Location is ok for Disney but getting around LA is a nightmare with LA traffic. I will shop for better hotels and avoid this place...not a place to relax or rest

Parking is inadequate and you check-in later in the evening plan to drive around for 15+ mins trying to find a spot. The breakfast was good. Rooms are clean but dated. The laundry room has a good amount of machines too.

Hotel was great. Lots of activities for the kids in a great location. Only feedback would be the hotel furniture was starting to look well used. overall family had a great stay

Such a great place for a family stay. The kids loved the pool, basketball court, ping pong table, and the arcade!

Loved it here! The room was excellent, the staff was helpful, the pool was gorgeous and the parking lot was safe. My only comment is that the breakfast started pretty late. I mean, you can start scanning into the parks at 730 but breakfast didn't open at the hotel until 7 so it's a tight morning if you need to walk to the bus in front of the hotel next door to get to the parks + through security. Idk I just think if you're a hotel that predominantly caters to parks guests the "actual" timing of park opening should be considered. BUT that's my only complaint. If you're looking for bus convenience, this spot isn't too bad. There is a stop right in front of the hotel that staff are instructed to tell you to use to get to the parks but DO NOT USE IT, or at least don't use it without checking the bus schedule and maps first. Those buses took waaay longer to get to the park than the buses that pick up at the depot in front of the hotel next door. Loved the stay and would book again, but those are my tips for park guests if you're debating where to stay! I know everyone balances different conveniences in different ways.

Breakfast was amazing, room was clean and staff was wonderful! We will be back!
