It was a great location, the valet parking wasn’t something we had planned to use, but it actually made it very easy for us!! Our floor didn’t have an ice machine 😳, looked as if they were remodeling, but our room was spacious and very clean!! Would def stay here again!!

Never got our room turned around but we came during a very busy weekend. Overall a great place about a 20 min walk to French quarter and bourbon, had some great food places nearby. Would stay here again.

The staff was all great and did a great job. The hotel upstairs smells like mold, I got an apple juice that was full of dead flies somehow. The bed was not very comfortable for the price, The pillows were paper thin and left my neck sore the whole stay.
The area surrounding the hotel is dirty and has unwell people marching around 24/7 or sleeping on the sidewalk and they are fairly aggressive.
It wasnt terrible but wasnt great either.

The hotel check in was great. There were no directions to room 247. Had every other number but that. Oversight when creating directions. Only one coffee in the room. Lighting was dim to none. The sitting area was well lit but the bedroom area was extremely dark. No lights. The room was good size and the bathroom was roomy.

Room was clean and as advertised. Desk staff was fine. I was overcharged for stay and was told it was due to valet parking. The very first item on my “included amenities” is Free Parking. Neither the hotel nor hotels.com will refund me for parking. The valet literally would not let me park my car myself. I will not be booking from hotels.com again in the future.

The property was being renovated. And I wasn't aware until we arrived. They didn't give us any washcloths. Other than those few things, our stay was great. The kids enjoy the pool and the breakfast was okay. I would stay there again once the renovations were completed. Oh, and the bar across the street was cool and convenient.

About 15 mins walk to canal street.
Cheaper option
Quite
If interested in tourism can stay around Canal street. Which puts you midway between French quarters and convention center in both directions. More restaurants and activities near canal street.

I booked through Expedia. When I booked the hotel it was indicated the fee for parking was $16/day. In fact, the parking is valet only at $42/day plus tax of $5.23...so $47.23/day. If I would have known that ahead of time I would have researched other parking options. The quality of the breakfast was disappointing, saved only by the "bold" coffee, which almost made it all worthwhile. Maybe I expect too much considering this was one of the less expensive hotels in the area. On the positive side, the location was pretty good and very walkable to restaurants, the river front and to the french Quarter.
