Staybridge Suites COLUMBUS-DUBLIN by IHG, an IHG Hotel

It was a nice place to stay when you have a family and you can spread out

The hotel needs to be updated. The bathroom was in rough condition and had a strong, moldy odour which air freshners did not fix. Stains on furniture. Slow elevator. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

other than the elevator not working when we arrived, my room being on the 4th floor, and having to climb stairs, then barely climbling back down the next morning because of back problems, the rest of the week's stay was great. staff called as promised when the elevator was fixed. quiet.friendly. comfortable

The staff was nice

Checked in at 4:30pm and still had to wait for a room. The room I was finally given was an "upgrade" but it smelled like cigarette smoke, there was a big stain on the couch and the bathroom had no shower curtain. Housekeeping knocked well before 8am. It was a little disappointing.

Our check in was 4pm and we were not able to have a room until almost 6pm.

Room was clean and bedding was clean but on first day a ladybug appeared on the nightstand and on further investigation there were dozens of live and dead ones in the bedroom. The following morning there was an army of ants in and around a cup of juice. Mind you, I was on the third floor. I consider these types of insects as fairly formless so I collected the live lady bugs and released them outside

The hotel was nice and so was the staff. However, the one toilet was very wobbly and both toilets kept clogging and needed to be plunged multiple times.

Upgraded and clean and nice food was good with options staff were nice and helpful

The tub drain was not working properly and the sink in the bathroom. It was draining and was clogged. The door handle to the bathroom was broken.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing everything! Would highly recommend staying here!

I will start by saying the staff at this hotel is wonderful. Everybody went out of their way to be welcoming and friendly. Aside from that, if I compare my stay to other Staybridge properties I have been at, this one was subpar. One morning the breakfast was egg and sausage muffins, but the muffins were burnt. The building very much is showing its age. While the room was spacious and well equipped, but it was not clean. Specifically, there was visible dust and dirt in visible places, such as between the bed and nighstand, on the shelving in the bathroom, and in the kitchen between the fridge and counter. There are other hotels in the area that are more updated and cleaner, and I'll be using those in the future.

Room was extremely dirty, arrived late but staff fixed the problem in the morning.
