Super 8 by Wyndham Monticello

The bed was comfortable and the refrigerator and microwave came in handy and worked great. The room was very clean and nice and quiet.

The price was very reasonable.

You get what you pay for

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.

When you walked into the room there was a very must order, that didn't go away. the air conditioner didn't work very well either. It was very humid when I stayed there & I had to set it very low in order to cool the room & it didn't pull out any moisture from the room, which could explain why the room smelled must & the floor felt damp. The wood was also peeling off of the bathroom door.

We ended up not even staying here. The price definitely reflects the atmosphere and area. With three kids, no thank you!

It's not terrible but the bathroom wasn't well stocked ,we found stains on multiple things and the doors seemed weathered and needing repair. It

First our keys didn’t work. Then they gave us room keys to a room already occupied. The rooms and hallways smelled musty and smoky. No elevator. Definitely not worth the price!

Room was clean and sufficient for our needs. I did notice that the outside lawns were in very poor shape. More weeds than grass. A good lawn service could do wonders for it. Will take a couple of years to get it to where it should be. Remember this is the first thing people see.

Room was clean and property was decent. Some outdated spaces but overall a good stay!

My stay was new in the area. Nicely organized bedroom too. Mostly convenient for food and light essential items. Gas stations, restaurants, and closer to the highway. Thank you.

I've had an excellent room at this Super * several times in the past few years. It's just very good for the price!

The two guys checking us in were helpful and frendly and the rooms were good

I found the property to be clean and well-maintained. I had very pleasant interactions with the manager, Chad, and found him to be accommodating and generous. Some points that might be helpful to let others know is that although they have a washer and dryer on the first floor, they are coin operated, and there’s no laundry soap in that room. However, upon mentioning these things to Chad, he quickly and without hesitation, gave me laundry soap to use as well as quarters in exchange for my bills. Regarding the complementary breakfast, if you’re looking for protein, it’s not here. They had a wide variety of flour based items, such as waffles, muffins, granola, oatmeal, and English muffins. Being that I’m on a carb restricted diet, I had breakfast elsewhere. I don’t hold that against this establishment as that is my choice to have a diet restriction. They have an indoor recreation area that has a very large, clean pool, a billiard table and one other table game that I think was ping-pong. I didn’t go in that area and also I’m not exactly sure. You can’t beat the location as it is right off of the freeway. I’m a firm believer that people make the difference, and feel like my opinion of this hotel is definitely influenced by that.m

There was no soap, no shampoo, and no Kleenexes. No one travels anymore with all of that. The room smelled like I was swimming in a vat of Mr. Clean.

The room was clean, everything we needed was readily available. Super 8 in Monticello was what we needed for a stop-off on our road trip. Would stay again!!
