What Guests Say About Their Stay

I didn't like the fact that there was a $50 resort fee and on top of that there was a $35 dollar valet parking fee per day. So $170 dollars to park your car. Parking on your own would have been even more expensive. $85 per night is ridiculous. Staff was wonderful valet parking service was good but not worth $85 night.

The grounds and accomodations are very nice. The complain has to do with the two main restaurants. One can expect based on the beautiful and elegant settings a much better meal experience even more considering the prices. We had dinner at Alpine Hall and room service from Tipsy Trout and we just can't recomend them. It is advisable to seak a nice meal experience elsewhere.

There’s not much to do in the summer besides eat and go to the pool . They charge $35 per day for parking, or you have the option to self-park for $2 per hour. Resort fees are around $50–$60 per day . I’d rate the food a 6 out of 10. The location is nice, but keep in mind that many places close early or are shut down altogether since summer is considered a slow season for them.

Beautiful hotel in great distance to dining and shops. Has a nice size pool and a nice outdoor court yard. My only complaint is it definitely isn’t the cleanest hotel I’ve visited. It’s very evident their custodial staff does the bare minimum.

Comfortable, convenient, lots of amenities. Hidden fees, lack of cleanliness in some areas, some amenities closed ( low season. I assume). Service was standard -

The advertisement talks about the gondola rides and their restaurant. They also speak about their pool. We planned on eating at the restaurant and getting started with our day. Upon arrival we were told the restaurant was held for private group and we would not be able to eat breakfast there at all during week. Everyday had to drive to town for breakfast before starting day. The gondola ride was not open during the entire stay. According to their website it would be. Pool was closed one of the days. I understand if something was wrong but I asked if something happened and was told by staff: “no, we just decided to close it early today” Obviously they promite skiing but during

Nice place but atypical for vacation ski lodge. Nothings included. $50 to use steak sauna. False advertising. Room was nice however shows signs of wear and tear.

Friendly, helpful staff - no matter where you were in the resort area there always seemed to be a staff member at a station or walking by who offered to answer questions or provide directions. Exceptional service

The hotel is amazing and features a lot of great amenities. However the spring time is when things slow down in Stowe and nearly 75% of the on-site and local attractions were closed! This was very disappointing since my family was excited to try some of the kid friendly activities. Fortunately the pool was open and fun. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating and did their best to make up for the lack of amenities. We’ll definitely visit again.

I went to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary with my husband and had a great time there. The hotel staff was very nice, they brought to our room champagne and chocolate strawberries with a very beautiful card.

Fun pool/hot tubs set up. Nice staff. Hotel is walkable to shops and restaurants. Only negative was double beds - way too small!

Great property, very clean and very nice people. Only weird this is they do have a lot of hidden fees that they do not tell you about, like the $210 resort fee and $35 parking fee. But other than that a great place to stay.
