The property was in construction mode but our room was in great shape. The breakfast left a little to be desired. Needed some more variety. Other than that the overall experience there was good.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean and the rooms are clean and have really comfortable beds. There’s a ton of parking and without the high rates. My favorite part is that there’s a functioning gym which is kept clean and in good condition regardless that it doesn’t seem to be used much. Personally I feel like it’s my own private gym LOL.
The front desk staff are very accommodating and friendly. They work really hard at making the property clean and inviting. The property is undergoing some updates and renovations but the staff works hard to mitigate the noise so you don’t get inconvenienced.
This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a weekend getaway on a budget or need to spend a few nights while on a trip. There’s a few places within a short drive as far as dining options or you can walk over to the nearby Dennys, next door. It’s convenient to find as it’s right off of the highway. I’ve definitely made it one of my favorites to stay when I’m in town.

Everything looks outdated and old. The shower had alot of water build up and hair on the shower. The toilet seat had urine splatters. The bedframe cover is black and dirty. The walls have so many cracks and whole around. It smelled like old and stale smoking. And the toom is supposed to be non smoking. Pool closed at 9pm so I wasn't able to enjoy anytime in it. Front desk service was great.

Upon entry, the front desk staff was friendly and professional. The lobby floors were not clean. As we entered the elevator, the walls were dirty and there was a strong aerosol spray throughout. The area near the 2nd floor steps was hot and had a foul odor that was evidently being covered up for spray. The odor was present throughout the building.
The outer doors and hall walls on the 2nd floor leading to our room were scraped and dirty. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker and cups and the air blew well. The lighting throughout the room was nice and bright. The sheets were clean but the bed only came with 3 flat pillows. The carpet throughout the building including the room were filthy so I was sure not to walk without shoes. Children or people were running the halls and letting doors slam from 9am until the early morning hours after 1am. Unfortunately, the room phone did not have a dial tone nor did it work to call the front desk or anyone.

Room dirty, common areas dirty. Stains on furniture, ben linens. At check in was told remodeling is currently being done and that I may hear hammering. Stayed in the room no more than 10 minutes and left. Was told I would be refunded one night not 2 after being told I'd receive one but had to contacted expedia being that I booked through them. Room was paid for prior to checking in but I was still charged using my credit card on file. Waiting on both a refund for 1 day paid through affirm and the additional charge taking from my bank using my card on file.

The staff was friendly. The hotel itself looks a bit rundown, though it is currently going through renovations. I certainly hope that my room wasn't renovated yet because there was lots to be desired. The walls were dirty in several places, fixtures not flush with their mounting surface (e.g., hanging from the ceiling or protruding from the wall), furniture falling apart, and what appeared to be mold around the shower.

There was a power outage and I was never able to check in. I waited in my cold car for hours to have to leave and go to another hotel(that was not my first or second choice). I understand the power outage was not their fault but I wish they would have told me they would refund my trip earlier instead of waiting in a cold car for hours and having swollen legs. I tried to book the hotel today for the same rate I got last night and it was not granted. That’s the least they could do.

I did not get to stay at the hotel because I was having car problems and was not able to get there and was still charged so I am highly upset cuz I spoke with the hotel people as well as hotels.com and was not able to get any resolution

I was surprised that a Wingate wasnt updated. The rooms and front desk area are in need of new paint. There was some type of odor throughout the hotel. My 11 even asked if people were smoking because it just smelled weird. The lock on our room needs replaced.

It’s a good place to stay if you’re visiting the area. It’s easily accessible from the highway and there’s a Denny’s open till midnight if you get in late. The staff is nice and welcoming. The hotel is 3 levels but the third floor is being remodeled and updated. There is breakfast available in the morning everyday. The options are alright but I wish there was more variety in the options. The WiFi is always dropping and losing connection so working from the room was rough at times.
This is a good place to stay and the staff works hard to keep it clean. They’re really friendly and try to accommodate the guests. Understand that the third floor is closed for renovations and you can’t hear the noise of the builders hammering and banging away. Even so they really try to accommodate the guests as best they can. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting.
