We were a group of 8, having traveled by bus from Nha Trang, so we were quite tired. We arrived around 5:30am to find the lights off but the door was open. Mosquitos were everywhere. The security guard was asleep on the floor and the receptionist was also asleep. They both woke up to assist us. The staff member mentioned that he’d notify us when a room became available. By noon, a room was ready but we were told there would be an additional charge by another staff member. The previous staff hadn’t mention any extra fees. Despite this, our stay was pleasant and the location was within walking distance to the city.

About a 30 minute walk into town, busy streets and sidewalks always filled with motorbikes which seems to be the norm, stepping around things and up and down the curbs constantly, not at lot in immediate area, the rice paddies were nice to see right across the street, the staff were all very lovely,room was beautiful, never enough hot water which would have been nice as it rained during most of our visit, about 1 hour walk to the beach, breakfast was good, would recommend if you don’t mind walking to town but they do offer a shuttle service if needed

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, with a generously sized bathroom that included a bathtub – a nice touch for relaxation. The view of the rice paddies opposite the hotel was stunning and truly added to the serene ambiance. We also appreciated the availability of bikes, which made exploring the town both fun and convenient.
While the buffet breakfast didn't offer a huge variety, it was perfect as a light meal before heading out for the day. One area for improvement would be adding more drop-off routes with the shuttle bus for easier access to key locations. Overall, a great experience with just a few small suggestions for enhancement! There was also a cafe next door for those after a Vietnamese coffee of various varieties (and off site laundry services too)

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at
This might be the first bad hotel review I’ve ever written. I have no idea how this hotel has good reviews. The moment we went into both our rooms (two couples with two rooms), we all smelled mold. We were told it’s rainy season and humidity is the reason for the musky smell. We were supposed to stay two nights and the price was reasonable so we told ourselves we would get over the smell. We woke up early the next morning to explore the beautiful Hoi an, only for my husband to suffer a severe allergic reaction and go to hospital. Doctor said likely due to mold. We didn’t know he was allergic. Doctor sent us to the city hospital emergency room in da nang 45 minutes away because his reaction was so bad. We came back to La Sesta with all the paper work from the hospital at 2pm on day two and they still made us pay full price for night 2 despite explaining we needed to check out a day early due to a medical emergency due to the poor conditions of the hotel. Even if you don’t have a mold allergy, it can cause several health problems that aren’t as severe such as signs of a cold, cough, sneezing, and more. I hope this is a warning to all to not stay here under any circumstances. You’re better off staying somewhere slightly more expensive for a better nights sleep, or worse: a hospital bill, vacation ruined, and no hotel refund despite their own negligence.

Love this hotel! This is my second time in Hoi An and my second time at Lasenta Boutique. I would not want to stay anywhere else! The location is perfect! It’s quiet and the rooms are beautiful, CLEAN, SPACIOUS and the amenities are the best. The decor and style is more western than the typical Vietnamese hotels. The staff are very accommodating. The free shuttle to and from Old Quarter is very convenient! The breakfast buffet is a huge bonus. I love love their French baguettes!!! The different rotation of noodle soups are delicious. They have many options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, Asians and non-Asians just pretty much a little for everyone.
Book this hotel if you have a chance. You will not regret it!
