The room is clean, the staff is enthusiastic, the electricity and water are both very strong so the voltage is very stable. The location is right on the dining street so it is suitable for food enthusiasts. If I have a chance to go to Hanoi, I will stop by again

This hotel is suitable for vacation or business trip. With a central location it is very interesting to walk out the door of the hotel is the dining street. The room is small but clean, the service attitude is good, breakfast is few but delicious.

The pictures that are shown on Expedia do not reflect in actual real world conditions. The front entrance area is dirty, run down and small/crowded. The hallways are also small and rundown, carpets are in need of changing, walls need patching up and painting. Family rooms need a major reno especially the bathroom. Sewer smell from the bathroom, caulking has black stuff on it(maybe mold) and water pressure ok to non existent. Shower area had a issue before my stay and they never patched the ceiling area around the pipes. Trang was most helpful in arranging to have us move to 2 seperate rooms at no extra cost. Those rooms were better. Thank you Trang. David was also very helpful. The location is excellent as the train street is very close(1 minute walk and lots of places to eat food) but the overall condition of the hotel is bad. They say that the hotel was built in 2016 but it looks like it's been in use for decades. I would look for somewhere else close by to stay in next time.

Great hotel for the price. Easy walking distance to anything you need - on a busy street. Staff were fabulous- very friendly, personable, and very accommodating to changes in our schedule. No major complaints other than had a massage and was very light and not very enjoyable.

The room was great, very spacious with balcony. The location was perfect, lots of authentic street food places and it seems that locals go there to eat judging by the number of motorbikes parked there. Only one problem was that the shower had weak pressure and the water was lukewarm.

Great value and very helpful staff - stored our bags during Sapa trip and allowed us to sleep in a room for more than half the price when arriving back from sleeper train at 5am. Would recommend!

Great location if you want to be right in the middle of it all. Very busy, amid the hustle and bustle. I think next time I would not stay in this particular neighborhood, now that I've done it once. (And nothing to do with the hotel). Cheers to the hotel staff. Always there to help!!!!!!

We stayed 4 nights the in the junior suite. The hotel is in the perfect location near great street food. It’s close enough to the lake and the Old Quarter to do everything you want to, but far enough away to not be too touristy. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The steamed airport pick up and drop off we’re seamless and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here on our next trip to Hanoi.

The room was clean, spacey, quiet and very well priced. The hotel sits in a street with lots of restaurants and bars, but it's quiet inside.
The staff were extremely helpful, they booked a train for us over the phone and pointed us to the best places in Hanoi.

Really nice cute hotel surrounded by great places to eat. Staff were incredibly helpful and looked after our large suitcase for a week whilst we took a motorbike trip up into the mountains. Looking forward to coming back to this hotel and Hanoi!

I booked a one week stay at Lele & Frog because the price was right, there was free breakfast included, and I liked the location. All of these things are accurate and good reasons to stay, but my experience there was amazing more because of the hotel staff: by turns friendly, helpful, charming, sweet, thoughtful and generous. In particular Ms. Apple and Ms. Viu deserve special mentions for going above and beyond. Returning to the hotel to be greeted by their smiles felt like coming back to a friend's home.
Whenever I next return to Hanoi there is no doubt that this is the place I'll stay. To stay anywhere else would feel like I was cheating on my friends.

Breakfast good, all free, a la carte and simple buffet.
Stayed 7th floor (highest) and could hear some street noise. Imagine lower floors can get quite noisy.
Excellent location on food streets, 15 minute easy walk to Hoam Kiem Lake.
Hotel is a little shabby; floor of corridor has some holes, shower needed sealing, walls could do with paining.
Shower pressure good. Daily housekeeping. Free bottle of water on arrival.

The Lele and Frog hotel in Hanoi is in a good central location on a street with an excellent variety of eateries.Rooms at the hotel are neat,clean, tidy & quite quiet with a 'phone,'fridge,TV & attached bathroom (all for about $25 per night).A varied breakfast buffet is also included in that price.Most memorable of all were the unfailingly kind,helpful and friendly staff.This hotel also has the sweetest and tastiest Apple in the whole of Hanoi!

The LeLe Frog hotel was immediately accomodating and the staff were friendly from the moment we checked in until we left for a halong bay cruise the next day, in constant contact with our rep to ensure we were not forgot about. The room was clean, modern and bright, a real treat after some of the places we have stayed in during our trip and a comfortable mattress and bedding which is always a great bonus. The breakfast was also wonderful with varied options of self service fruits and foods alongside a made to order poached eggs (with toast that I added) and pancakes for my partner, the breakfast even had crispy bacon on offer which we thoroughly enjoyed and did not expect. Would highly recommend this place to anyone as the location is great also and is walking distance to anything you may need in the old quarter.
