The hotel is relatively new, hence in good condition. I booked for a bigger room so it’s comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is excellent but drainage is poor and took a long time to drain.
The location is good as it has ocean view, however you need to walk around 15 mins to a swimming beach. Around 500 meters from the hotel is a local market with lots of restaurants. The breakfast buffet has lots of options but they don’t replace food after it runs out so you need to get there early.
It took me an additional trip to get to the hotel. I’m told there are 6 Muong Thanh hotels in Ha Long, so you need to specify which one to your driver.

Everything is good, nice view, clean rooms, however the hotel should clearly state which room has city view and which room has sea view to avoid confusion.

Everything in the hotel is ok, deserves 5 *. But the soundproofing of the rooms alone is inferior to even the lowest-class hotels. At 5 am sleeping, the next room said what was clearly heard, not missing a single word. Never been in a hotel with such bad soundproofing. Chaecs will never come back again.

Check in at 23:30 'room to rest at 6:30 am check out. Family members do not carry luggage. Going people do not. Out to check out the receptionist lost her towel. Do not know what kind of hotel work is done that takes the whole morning of the family because the hotel party setup lacks clothes? Request check camera check is not allowed. I don't know how 4 star hotel is very boring
