The room is very spacious, airy and bright with large windows overlooking the Han River, fully equipped in the traditional hotel style.
My family arrived on the day of storm No. 1, it was pouring rain, luckily behind the hotel there is a culinary "street" with rich food, a full department store so it was very convenient. In addition, I was also supported very quickly by the hotel because I forgot something when leaving the hotel.
The service and service attitude are very good so I will come back next time. 👍
Note, the hotel is only free for children under 6 years old, from 6 years old and up there will be an additional charge, so you need to check the additional charge before booking a room to ensure quick check-in procedures.

The staff took a long time to check in and check out.
- Check in, the staff asked me to move to 3 counters to complete the procedure. The staff did not focus on checking in for the guests but mixed in other, personal things (ordering drinks)
- Check out, I had to wait 45 minutes to finish.
- The staff at the reception desk, the face of the hotel, but when checking in and checking out, their faces were not welcoming, not happy, not smiling.
- Breakfast: few dishes, not diverse, average quality

The breakfast restaurant on the first floor did not have enough space so they asked customers to move to the second floor. The hot food was cold (beef noodle soup). The food ran out and they did not refill it. The clean cups for water ran out but the staff did not refill them and instead stood around in groups of 3 or 5 chatting. The worst experience of all my stays at Muong Thanh Hotel.

The old room was dirty, I never thought the room would be as shabby as it is now. The bed sheets were old and never changed, it smelled so bad that I couldn't sleep at night, the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted and was always on, the windows were all glass and made noise like the street. This hotel doesn't deserve 2 stars, it's not as good as a newly built private hotel. Stayed once and never wanted to come back.

Rented a room for nearly 2 million but the air conditioner was broken, luckily the staff came to fix it promptly. Wifi was weak, almost non-existent, breakfast was small and boring
Bathroom amenities were provided, room for 2 people but only enough shower gel for 1 person

The room was smelly, even though I requested to change rooms, it still smelled musty. I booked 2 rooms, told the receptionist to put the rooms close together, the receptionist said yes, but when I checked in, they said they were only separated by an elevator. But in reality, there was 1 room at the beginning of the row, 1 room at the end of the row (because there was also a staff room and an emergency staircase). The staff explained that the guest room class required only 1 room per floor, I agreed to upgrade the room class and pay more so that my family could stay close together, the staff said there were no rooms. Finally, I found out that there were many vacant rooms.
Not to mention the interior of the room was seriously degraded, the cushioned makeup chair was dead, the hinge was wobbly when I closed the door, I was afraid that if I closed it a little too hard, it would fall off.
In the past, I was a loyal customer of Muong Thanh from Hue, Da Nang, Ha Long, Nha Trang, ... This is the third time I have stayed at MT Grand DN. But with this trip experience, I officially say goodbye to Muong Thanh.

Room location has good view of Dragon Bridge and Han River Bridge. Room is neat but the cooling takes a long time, 2 air conditioning vents but only one works. Elevator has no sign so sometimes you don't notice or get skipped. Swimming pool requires swimsuit to go in. General service is good, breakfast buffet is okay, fruit juice is a bit bland for my taste.!
