Mövenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc

It was very nice.

We stay at 3 bedroom villa on the beach. The villa was amazing, right on the beach with private pool. Master bedroom and living room with perfect sea view. Will return for sure.

The rooms were nice and clean as was the hotel in general. I think overall the hotel itself too many rooms for the facilities provided, you have to queue for breakfast and wait for available tables, there are not enough sun beds etc. Everything in the hotel was quite expensive comparable to outside the hotel would recommend eating elsewhere. Good location for covering all the different things to see in phu quoc. Hotel is nice and grounds beautiful just not sure it’s good value compared to other stays.

We had a great time at Movenpick for a family holiday. Breakfast service was great and unbeatable. Also appreciate the free shuttle to the airport. But there needs to be more buggy services to the main gate and potentially options to hire bike as the resort is a good 10 mins away from other restaurants and massage places. But the hotel amenities were fantastic. The kids had an amazing time at the pool and the beach

Super noisy at night until 2 AM

Beatifully managed property, clean and staffs are helpful. Breakfast buffet had good selection and daycare for kids were amazing. Spa was great, pool was amazing. Loved happy hour at the pool side bar and good food decently priced. Wish the pool had more "programs" like aquafit or pool equipments provided for free rather than charge for tube rentals. Overall we would recommend the property to family and friends.

Great resort, we would love to go back. Kids loved it. Awesome pool, golf carts will take you to the main pool and beach. Staff are excellent, rooms are amazing. Wish we could stay longer.

Stay at movenpick waa great. No hassles. Chef was friendly to cook vegetarian options in morning breakfast on whim's notice . Resort is really well placed, ambience is superb. Private beach that reaort has , is one of the best beach i have been to. Kid Zone is really well built with options of play from2 years to12 years. Lot of art and craft classes organised at kid zone which you can opt in for. High Tea Provided by resort is really nice.

I loved my stay, thank you so much, staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the complementary chocolate hour. That was a lovely surprise.

I like the property especially the villas. The villa is spacious and larger than expected. Many staffs including the receptionist don’t know English that well and it seemed to me that they were not that experienced or knowledgeable of the hotel status. We were recommended by a receptionist to have dinner at a restaurant at the hotel. But, when we get there, the restaurant was dark and empty because it was closed for renovation for 3 months. There are space for improvement for the staffs at the reception or concierge. Most staffs seems to work under pressure and there are no smile in their faces most of the time.

Great property on the beach. The villas are very well appointed, are light filled and have a private pool and small garden. Delicious buffet breakfast although food outside of breakfast was average.

Helpful, friendly staff. Facilities were generally good. It was not clear that the residence and the hotel were different, and we were away from the main facilities. This was disappointing and we would have booked the hotel if we had known. Beach/sea was not as clean as other resorts

It’s a beauty property. The residences are set back from the ocean and overlook a lagoon and villas toward the ocean and the amenities (restaurant, beach, spa) are located over at the Waverly property which is an easy 2 minute walk or 1 min golf cart ride. The residences are more quiet whereas the Waverly is more of a resort feel. Like any resort, prices for food are inflated and You are a bit isolated from pretty much anything, necessitating a taxi or Grab to go anywhere. Not unusual or unexpected. The beach is beautiful and mostly clean but we noticed a lot of trash cohorted at the base of the trees hanging closest to the ocean. To be fair, the island has a major trash problem and it’s really sad. Surely us tourists are adding to the problem. Our room smelled a bit like mothballs at first but that went away.

개미가 좀 있는것 빼고는 모두 괜찮았어요. 남부로 많이 갈 일정이 없었기 때문에 빈버스도 잘 이용했고, 북부, 중부 이용하는데 문제 없었습니다. 아침에 참새와 함께하는 아침식사가 매우 ECO-friendly 했습니다. ㅎㅎ

We loeved this hotel. The reception is beautiful and coming into the hotel is a treat. The room was lovely, clean and had a beautiful view. Breakfast is well worth having, there is so much choice and options and they do eggs on request. There is a chocolate hour every day from 3.30-4.30 which is a lovely touch. The pool area is lovely, plenty of room and there is a lovely private beach as well. Towels are available from the pool area as well as some balls and sports equipment to play with. The location is about 15 mins from the main town, but there is a free bus that goes into the town roughly every 15 mins from the main gate. The hotel has a buggy service every 30 mins (or just ask and they might take you) down to the main gate, or you can walk it takes about 10-15 mins. Then the number 17 or 19 bus are free and take you right into the town. Getting off at the Night Market is a good central location. There is a brilliant gym with great facilities its a good large gym for a hotel. Overall we loved the hotel, it was a great stay and no complaints from us!
