Superb hotel in Central Hanoi near to all the main attractions. Brilliant breakfast but the pool is very small and it can be hard to find a spare lounger.

Above all, I would say that the hotel staff is fabulous. They are kind, attentive, friendly, and could not have been more welcoming.
The only issue that we had was concerning the park next to our hotel room that was blasting music day and night. After traveling over 20 hours, it would’ve been nice to have been able to get a good night sleep. I will also note that there were a lot of Scaffolding and miscellaneous extra hotel stuff that was stacked outside of our window of the bathroom. I thought that was unprofessional and would have preferred not to have had to look at it.

This Hotel is “ Top Notch “
We stayed in the Heritage Wing which is steeped in history . Our Butler took us on a private tour highlighting the history of the building and ending down in the Bunker

We had a great 3 night stay at the Sofitel in Hanoi. The hotel is well located in the French Quarter and as many people have said an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Our room was lovely, with a small terrace. The bed was comfortable, good amenities and quiet.
Breakfast could be eaten in either The Club or Spice Garden. Both an excellent choice of Western and Asian cuisine.
We enjoyed the spa and gym… and ate in The Club and had cocktails in The Bamboo Bar and Angelina’s. Lovely food, great service and fab cocktails!
Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend if staying in Hanoi.

The hotel is top of the line with amazing and very helpful concierge and front desk. They arranged tours for us with short notice which were great. we missed a bit of Hanoi because we tended to enjoy the hotel as an oasis from the frenetic city. Highly recommend this wonderful historic hotel.
