We had a lovely staff.

Excellent stay, warm welcome, incredibly comfortable room and best night sleep in top quality king-size bed in superior room, good small fridge in wardrobe, powerful hot shower and the best breakfasts ever with incredible amount of choice. Highly recommend.

Had a great 1 night stay at Tudor Lodge while on a tour of Wales. Staff were great and breakfast options and quality were excellent.

Super friendly welcome for this lone traveller staying for a night. Room was really comfortable, Rituals toiletries are always a treat, and the cooked breakfast in the morning was spot on.

Hotel was best we have been in for a while! Very clean room, lovely toiletries. Bed was comfortable and lovely decoration. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Lovely dining room. Hosts were very friendly. Would recommended highly!

Amazing service, clean, friendly, outstanding.

Well portioned for easy access to all travel and walking. Stunning views of surrounding mountains. However the village seemed abit run down and dinning opportunities limited. We would suggest the Royal Sportsman hotel for dinning. As we have visited it before and the food and service was excellent.

My stay here was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and staff very friendly. It’s very convenient to the main shopping and dining streets in town.

Quaint, clean, comfortable lodge. Attention to detail and comfort was exceptional. The breakfast was varied and excellent. The town was interesting, pretty, walkable, with lots to do. Good transit options. Host was efficient. Shower on room was awesome.

I had a fantastic 4 night stay, it’s a must place to stay, excellent breakfast choice, staff were great,everything was clean, couldn’t ask for more, thanks to all at Tudor Lodge 😀👍👍

First, thank you to the owner for helping carry our bags in ( the parking lot is gravel so you do have to carry them a fair distance before the wheels will work). Our room was pretty small, though that may be because it was configured for twins. While the room sizes are indicated on all bookings platforms what is not mentioned is the furniture that you've added to the room: a small desk (not appropriate to store clothes due to small drawers) and a large Wardrobe, containing a small fridge and the fan. While there are a couple of hangers for coats, again there is no place to place clothes. Maybe instead of storing the fan here, put in some shelves (or get rid of the Wardrobe entirely). It was also extremely hot: you definitely need to crack the windows more (we stayed in May) and use the fan. After doing that is was much better. Note that this comment is not directed to the owner (who left a sarcastic reply to my review on another platform) It is directed to potential customers on how to deal with the heat in the room. The breakfast was okay: lots of self serve choices though the full breakfast was not great and the black pudding was terrible. We also felt that not all staff was genuine when they interacted with us.

Amazing breakfast, so much choice and excellent quality

The room was spotless and very comfortable. Tea and coffee provided with fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked, with the bacon cooked to perfection. Hosts were fabulous.

We had a fantastic stay. Clair was great, very welcoming and attentive. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. We loved all the unusual artwork and quirky bits and bobs. Would definitely stay again and hope that I do.
