Banyuwangi Baru Station (BWB) is a large class C station located on Jalan Gatot Subroto 36, Ketapang, Kalipuro, Banyuwangi, East Java. Currently, the station, at an altitude of +7 meters above sea level, is about 309 kilometers east of Surabaya City and is included in DAOP IX Jember. 

Banyuwangi Baru Station is an active train station on the easternmost island of Java. It is about 10 kilometers from the district government center to the north and about 100 meters from Ketapang Ferry Port. The main objective of constructing this station is to create integration between ferries and trains as modes of transportation. 

As of December 2019, Banyuwangi Baru Station has officially changed its name to Ketapang Station (KTG), according to a proposal from the Banyuwangi Regency Government to PT KAI. The goal is to make it easier for tourists visiting Banyuwangi to remember the station's name.

In addition, Banyuwangi Baru Station also serves economy class Pandanwangi Local Train with a travel relation of Ketapang Station - Jember Station PP. The distance between the two stations is about 112 km, with a journey duration of about 2.5 hours.
