Beautiful view and not far from town.

cool.. and not so crowded, so it's easy to walk. FYI from the parking lot to the temple is very far, you have to take a shuttle bus.. but it's free...

For Borobudur Temple, it's good, there are no problems and there are no shortcomings, cleanliness is also very good, the only minus is that access to the temple is made to go around just for the sake of merchandise sellers, please manage it better, if possible, make it like GWK Bali, organized and orderly, sometimes visitors are tired of going up the temple and going down and out as if being forced to pass by traders and are already in no mood to shop.

Got a reservation too late in the day so it was very hot.

Awesome 1,200-year-old Buddhist temple! - Online tickets at their official website were sold out a day before, but luckily app still have some on sale. - Efficient ticketing & entrance system. Kudos to the Management! - You received complimentary traditional slippers/flip flops to use at the structure (and bring home as souvenir) - Friendly & informative Guide assigned to visitors (max 15/group). Tipping is optional & appreciated. - Clean, well-kept grounds/park surrounding the structure. - Vending machines for cold bottled drinks are available when you’re leaving the structure, but you have to use crisp notes Tip: To avoid the heat, go early in the AM (there are organized sunrise visits, but to the ground/park level only!). Note that the structure opens for visitors at 9am. This is an active temple still being used for meditation & prayer, so please observe & give respect 🙏🏼

The staff is friendly and helpful. The ticket exchange procedure is also clear. The scenery around the temple is beautiful, especially the surrounding mountains.

No need to queue to buy tickets, there is a shuttle to the temple. Yesterday I came during Eid, it was very crowded and hot, then there were no tickets to go up the temple, sad 😭.

It was very fun, the kids enjoyed it even though they were tired, the guide staff was also very friendly and fun in explaining. Really amazed by Borobudur 👍👍

It was very impressive to be able to learn about the history of Borobudur Temple and go up directly to the temple, as well as the facilities which are getting better and the temple area which has been renovated to be better.

It is interesting that there have been many renovations. It makes it easier for visitors, and they are not too tired because there are cars going back and forth.

For people who have many family members, visiting Borobudur Temple can be quite a wallet drain. That's even for the cheaper ticket which only allows access to the ground level of Borobudur. If you want to go to the upper levels, you need to pay more. The path to reach the temple is quite long for older people, but the pickup car service is very helpful. However, the signage is lacking, as many visitors search for the location where the pickup cars wait. If you want to take pictures, I suggest bringing a tripod to take them yourselves, but if you have more money, there are many freelance photographers there who will help you find good spots, and then you can choose as many photos as you like and pay 15K Rupiah per picture.

For ticket exchange using Traveloka there is no problem, it's just that the tourist attractions that made us disappointed because 1. The ticket exchange entrance is too far from the parking lot 2. After entering, it turns out that we got on a wira wiri car which is currently still free because it is said to be on trial 3. After getting on the wira wiri, it turns out that we haven't reached the temple area, we have to get on a wira wiri which costs 20 thousand to 25 thousand per person, if you want to get on a delman, it's 100 thousand for 1 delman with a capacity of 4 people, and we tried to get on a delman which said it would go around and be taken to the temple entrance, but it didn't go around, the view was just trees The tourist area is hot but there is no place to take shelter. Very disappointing, not comfortable for children

The location is very spacious, cool because there are lots of trees, the layout is good, clean, and the facilities are okay.

No need to queue if you already have an online ticket.
