This museum, formerly known as the Elephant Museum, is really great. When I was in elementary school, I came here from school and when my child was in elementary school, he came here. After the renovation, it is really great, aesthetic, and modern, especially since there is a 3D studio. It's even more awesome.

The last time I went to the national museum was in high school in 2016, now the museum is very minimalist. The last time I went there, it seemed like there was a skeleton of an ancient animal, but why is there nothing now? huhu, there are just not enough directions to get to one of the exhibitions, I think it's not clear but it's still fun

Visiting the National Museum of Indonesia with family during a long weekend, it turned out to coincide with the Kongsi Exhibition which contains the history of culture, goods, works and writers of Chinese descent in Indonesia. There is also a Misykat exhibition which contains the history of the entry of Islam into Indonesia. Very enlightening and adds insight regarding religion and diversity in our nation, also further fosters a sense of love for the homeland and togetherness. Highly recommended to visit with family and children to introduce the cultural diversity of our nation. Input: the price of exhibition tickets should be cheaper/below the price of regular entrance tickets. There are also cheaper promos/bundling if you buy regular entrance tickets and exhibition tickets.

It's my first time going to a museum with many people. It just says something about how patriotic the locals are.

Displaying collections is no longer old-fashioned, it is more like a gallery. Imersifa can be another alternative to showcase museum collections.

every time I go to the national museum, I am always happy because every day the information that can be captured becomes more clear and completes my knowledge about Indonesia. This time what I saw was the Indonesian women's movement, Kongsi: Chinese in Indonesia, the revival and resistance movement and the spread of Islam in Indonesia. Perhaps the instructions for the display can still be improved, because the history and its importance are less readable

one of the old museums that is still very well maintained. for the overall experience it's okay, only 1 thing that might need to be fixed, namely signage or clearer directions and eye level. so people are not confused looking for the place they are going to.
