As a huge fan of Sarasate's works, I think the Ziguenerwaisen performance was good, but it still has rooms for improvements. The phrasing was a little uneven, tempo was sometimes rushing, and some notes were missed—but it's okay, maybe because it was an opening piece and the players were still a little stiff and nervous. Luckily, the Sarasate Caprice was perfect. Other than that, it was a worthy experience.
