My family of 2 adults and 1 4-year-old child bought this voucher from traveloka and had a horrible experience. I bought the guaranteed shuttle bus package from Hanoi. The voucher has only 1 phone number and a few conditions printed on it. The meeting point address to pick up my family at 5:20am is clearly printed at La Passion Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. At the payment step, traveloka deducted the money immediately and there was no debt.
1. Before the departure date, I tried to contact the phone number printed on the voucher but I could NOT CONTACT. Because I trusted them, I thought I would only be able to call them on time
2. On the departure date, my whole family arranged to arrive at the meeting point at 5:00am, 15 minutes early. I took an unedited iPhone photo as proof. This is where the terrible experience began. NO ONE CAME TO PICK ME UP OR CONTACT ME AND I COULDN'T CALL THE ONLY DDT NUMBER IN THE VOUCHER. I couldn't reach the traveloka hotline because they only operate from 8:00 to 22:00. My family was extremely worried because they didn't know if the bus would be late. Then I had to contact Ambassador Ship myself to ask how to resolve my situation.
3. Ambassador Ship informed me: Traveloka didn't even SEND MY BOOKING to the ship so they didn't have my family's name on the list.
After a lot of trouble, I had to hide the ticket for the trip that I had already paid for. Then Ambassador Ship put me on the urgent travel list and I was able to get on the Ambassador Ship's bus to start the journey to Ha Long. Why was that when I had booked the trip 3 days before? I don't beg for anything, why should I hide and fight for my rights?
I was very upset, I called and talked to 3 traveloka customer service staff with the hope of being compensated for my family's loss of experience, but it has been 4 days after the trip and they still haven't resolved it. I am really disappointed and I never want any other customer to go through the same experience as me!
