I booked this DMZ tour from Seoul via app, and I was glad that the tour guide's duty fell to Julie from PLK Travel. She cackled us with her witty jokes and charming personality. On her gut, we decided to go to Majang Lake first to avoid a big wave of local tourists by day. Then, we went to Imjingak, before finally breathing the same air as those who live at the border between North and South Korea. I believe the most challenging point was the Third Tunnel, in which we descended 350 meters below before crouching 200 meters to view the now-closed underground entrance to North Korea. Julie also teased the possibility of the JSA reopening by the end of this year. That’s intriguing! Highly recommend her and her tour agency.

today I took the DMZ Half Day Tour Korea with Guide Miss Joey and it was an unforgettable experience! Miss Joey's extensive knowledge of the DMZ's history and current situation was impressive. Her clear and concise explanations made the tour engaging and informative. Miss Joey's professionalism, kindness, and sense of humor made the tour enjoyable and stress-free. She answered all our questions patiently and provided insightful information about the DMZ. I highly recommend the DMZ Half Tour Korea with Guide Miss Joey to anyone interested in learning about the DMZ. It's an eye-opening and thought-provoking experience that will leave you with a deeper understanding of Korea's history and culture. Thanks to PLK and our tour guide Ms. Moon Young, I finally ticked one item off my bucket list: to visit DMZ. Ms. Moon Young has been very helpful and informative during our entire trip 🙏
